Chapter 20 Little Devil



The rain had stopped sometime earlier, and the only sound on the quiet mountain was the crackling of burning firewood.

The flames burned away Shanyuan's monk's robes, revealing a scarred, emaciated body covered only by skin and flesh, clearly exposed in the firelight.

Meng Lao Er frowned deeply, incredulous: "The monk actually cut off his own flesh to feed that little devil?"

The family of three looked very happy.

The man in the photo looks remarkably similar to Shan Yuan.

One of them just looks a little fatter and has a rounder face.

One of them had a thin face and looked much older.

"I guess he came out on vacation, and then his wife and children had accidents one after another, so he stayed at the temple," said Meng Laoda.

Zhao Xiaoxiu agreed and emptied everything out of her backpack.

Inside were several pieces of men's and women's clothing that looked old but were of good quality, children's toys and snacks, and two solar-powered flashlights that had run out of power.

Meng Lao Er's eyes lit up, and he exchanged a glance with Zhao Xiao Xiu.

The two chuckled, no longer sleepy, and began a thorough search of the temple.
