Mo Shigui stared at the phone that had been hung up, and dialed back in disbelief, only to have it ring once before being cut off.
He dialed again, and the voice on the other end said: "Sorry, the number you dialed is currently switched off. Please try again later."
"Boss, why don't you try communicating again via walkie-talkie?" the driver beside him suggested sympathetically.
Mo Shigui glanced at him. "What kind of look is that? If he doesn't answer the phone, we're all in trouble!"
Those arrogant bastards who broke in aren't gone yet!
The soldier lowered his head dejectedly and promptly shut his mouth.
I called on the walkie-talkie, but there was no reply at all.
Mo Shigui angrily pounded on the car door, then angrily opened the door, jumped out, and strode toward his territory. Less than two seconds later, he turned around and went back into the car.
In a fit of anger, he snapped. As soon as he got close, countless thorny branches shot out from the green wall and swept towards him. Luckily, he retreated quickly, or he would have become fertilizer by now.
"What should we do?" the soldier asked timidly.
Mo Shigui immediately shot him a glare, saying nothing, his aura overwhelming and oppressive, causing the soldier to swallow hard and squeeze out through gritted teeth, "How about we use flamethrowers?"
A sharp "smack!" rang out inside the vehicle as Mo Shigui gave the soldier a sharp rap on the head, the young man nearly bursting into tears from the pain.
"Use a flamethrower? How could you even think of that? You trespass on territory and want to be killed by Zhao Gang and used as food for these mutants?"
"Anyway, I can't beat him." Mo Shigui leaned back in his chair, deciding to just give up!
But Aji kept calling, asking if they had made any plans yet, saying they were being driven crazy by those lunatics.
"Boss, why don't we just apply for assistance from the research base?" Aji suggested angrily.
Mo Shigui was tempted for a moment, but quickly calmed down and instructed, "No need for now. There's no need to make a big fuss about this little matter and let the higher-ups know. Bring one of them in and let them come and talk to each other themselves."
He had barely finished speaking when a startled cry came from Aji's end: "Boss, someone's at the research base!"
Mo Shigui frowned and quickly ordered the soldiers to drive the car over.
In just five minutes, when Mo Shigui arrived, the people at the research base had already left.
"What did you say?" Mo Shigui asked Aji.
Aji whispered mysteriously in my ear, "The biotechnology company said they can enter the park and find their own people, but they can't bring guns in, nor can they harm any of the lords in the park."
Mo Shigui raised an eyebrow in surprise, which aggravated the wound on his forehead. He hissed in annoyance, took the medical antifungal patch handed to him by his subordinate, and applied it. The wound quickly stopped bleeding.
Aji whispered, "It's the Green Field Alliance. They seem to have a deal with the biotech company. Something they bought from them was stolen, and the thief ran into our B-zone plantation. The location shows he's in territory number 13. Should we notify Zhao Gang? After all, there are still children in that territory..."
Xiaoxiu is such a well-behaved and sensible child, we can't let anything happen to her.
Mo Shigui knew what Aji was worried about. Recalling the phone call that had been abruptly ended, he said irritably:
"Your worries are completely unnecessary. With Zhao Gang around, no one can touch a hair on his child's head. Besides, there's this green wall. Who the hell would dare to go in here!"
Aji's expression changed, and he tentatively asked, "Boss, what do you mean?"
Mo Shigui did not answer him. Instead, he stepped forward and shouted at the group of people with green skull bandanas tied around their heads, who were standing in the rain outside the entrance:
"Since the biotech company has spoken, we can't refuse the director's request. Send five people in to negotiate with Lord Number 13 yourselves!"
Before the person entered, Mo Shigui gave a stern warning: "Remember, follow the rules, or don't blame me for being disrespectful!"
The tall, thin blond man at the head of the group, wearing frameless glasses, curled his bright red lips and said, "I know."
He extended a long, slender, snow-white hand and, ignoring Mo Shigui's annoyance, shook his hand: "Since we are friends, we will abide by the rules of friendship."
He had very fair skin, deep-set features, and a pair of glassy green eyes. His entire face was shrouded in the brim of a black raincoat, revealing only a sharp, dagger-like chin.
Her naturally bright red lips curved upwards, revealing her pearly white teeth, and Mo Shigui suddenly thought of an ancient Western species—the vampire.
Of course, the warmth emanating from his hand indicates that he is just a normal human being.
"My name is Steven." He gave a gentlemanly bow and politely inquired, "What's your name, Captain?"
“My surname is Mo,” Mo Shigui said coldly.
He disliked Steven intensely, feeling as if he were being watched by a cold, serpentine creature.
Aji warned: "You can only drive one vehicle, and you are not allowed to carry any firearms. Each person can only carry one weapon."
Steven did as he was told, putting down all his weapons, getting into a modified car, and taking only a communicator and a pair of handcuffs with him.
The rest of the people stayed outside the planting area. Mo Shigui left someone to keep an eye on them, while he personally drove Steven and the others to the entrance of Territory No. 13.
"This is the place. I personally suggest you apply to enter after dawn, otherwise..." Before Mo Shigui could finish his sentence, the chilling green wall had already set its sights on Steven and the others.
But Steven, seeing the flashing red dot on the locator right in front of him, completely ignored Mo Shigui's warning.
The five men put on raincoats, carried a box, got off the bus, took out a bottle of medicine from the box, poured it into a spray bottle, and sprayed it onto the green wall.
