Author's Note on the Launch of Chapter 85
It has been exactly forty days since the book was first published.
The emotional journey during that period can be described in four words: "torture and pain".
In particular, I was unaware of the platform's new book mechanism reform in May, and I even thought there was something wrong with my own writing.
In half a month, the number of favorites was less than 300, and the number of reads was less than 30.
This is truly the worst data I've ever recorded since I started writing a book; I almost had to abandon it.
Fortunately, with encouragement from friends and editors, and my own strong attachment to this book, I finally persevered.
I thought that once May ended, I could finally focus on writing and saving up drafts.
As a result, he tested positive on June 1st and had a fever for three consecutive days, requiring an IV drip for one day.
The plan is completely ruined.
Even now, as I write this reflection, I'm still comforting myself with the saying "good things come to those who wait."
Tears welled up in my eyes.
To be honest, I really enjoyed the story in this book.
As someone who has been a corporate slave for over a decade, I've truly written down the life I've always dreamed of.
I also long to "pick chrysanthemums in the southeast and leisurely gaze at the southern mountains," I also hope to "remain calm and composed, and turn the tide," and I also long for the company of a beautiful woman...
Let's pursue our dreams and live up to our youth.
Finally, I'd like to ask for first-day subscriptions and monthly passes tomorrow.
Putting everything else aside, I'll do my best to update, writing as much as I can.
I'm asking for help from all you fellow readers.
Best regards!
