Thor slowly lowered his head, his nose gently brushing against Fang Yu's, carrying a hint of the cool, refreshing scent of lake water. Fang Yu nervously closed her eyes, her long eyelashes trembling slightly.
The next second, his lips gently covered mine. The kiss was light, a little shy and cautious, yet filled with an irrepressible joy.
Fang Yu leaned back, covering her mouth, "It can't be this fast..."
Thor chuckled as he listened to her words, deliberately turning his head to the side while his eyes still lingered on her.
His smile made Fang Yu even more embarrassed, her cheeks turning even redder. "What are you laughing at?" Fang Yu muttered softly.
Thor turned his head, a smile still in his eyes, and gently pinched Fang Yu's chin, making her look at him again. "I'm not laughing at anything," he said with amusement, "I just think, how can my girlfriend be so cute?"
He deliberately emphasized the words "my girlfriend," and both of them felt as if their hearts were filled with something soft and sweet.
They strolled hand in hand along the lake. "Fang Yu, do you only live with your mother?"
"Yes, my dad. He passed away in an accident the year before last."
"From now on, call me if you need any heavy work at your house." Thor squeezed her hand.
"My family," Thor thought it wasn't appropriate to say it now, "your mother, is she planning to find someone else?"
“Someone introduced me to someone before, but my mom said she’s not looking for one now.”
"Okay, tell your mom not to look for it yet, not to look for it yet!"
"What's wrong?" Fang Yu tilted her head and looked at Thor in confusion.
"Your mom, your mom is a good person, she deserves better. Don't look for someone else yet, don't look for someone else yet," Thor emphasized urgently, his voice filled with barely concealed tension.
"Why are you acting strange?"
Thor didn't explain, he just put his arm around Fang Yu's shoulder and was thinking about his own plans.
"I'm going back." Fang Yu glanced at the sky.
"Okay, let's go home, or go find your mom."
"My mom's still open, let's go to her place. I haven't been there all day."
Thor suddenly remembered something and took out the small fish silver necklace he had bought last time from his pocket.
"Baby Fish, you can put it away now!" He took it out, intending to put it on Fang Yu.
"I'll keep it for now, my mom will ask me about it when she sees it."
"I'll talk to your mother."
"What are you saying?"
"Tell her you're dating me. I'll tell her what you're too embarrassed to say."
"No need. My mom and I are like friends, we'll talk about it gradually."
"Don't be disgusted by it. I don't have much money right now. I'll buy gold when I earn more money."
“Lei, I’ll call you Lei from now on. It’s not God, it’s not Sharp.”
"Okay, let's call him Lei."
On the way back, while sitting on the motorcycle, Fang Yu was still holding onto Thor's clothes, and Thor pulled her hand over and placed it on his stomach.
Fang Yu smiled, wrapped her arms around his waist, pressed herself against his back, smelled the soap on his body, and sat steadily behind him.
Not far from the store, Fang Yu said she wanted to get off and walk over herself.
"I'll take you there, and I also need to meet your mother."
"How can you be so bold? Aren't you afraid of meeting your parents?"
“I know your mom. I mainly feel that your mom is a pretty open-minded person.” Thor’s motorcycle didn’t stop, but drove straight to the store entrance and parked.
Yu Jihong is sweeping the floor.
Fang Yu came downstairs and went into the store. Thor followed her in and took the broom from Yu Jihong's hand. "Auntie, let me sweep."
"No need, no need, I've already swept it up." Yu Jihong held onto the broom tightly.
"Auntie, Fang Yu and I have started dating." Thor said earnestly from the side.
Fang Yu was in a corner, head down, picking at her nails.
"Oh!" Yu Jihong, holding the broom, was at a loss for words.
"Auntie, I will be good to Fang Yu, and I will be good to you too. Please call me to do any chores around the house from now on."
"Good, good!" Yu Jihong looked at Thor and nodded with a smile. "You're a good kid."
"You should go back first!" Fang Yu felt that Thor could say anything to her mother.
"I'll take you home."
"No need, I'll go back with my mom. We'll walk around and chat."
"Yes, Lei Feng, you go back first."
"Hmm," Thor seemed to want to say something more, "Alright, I'll head back now."
Thor glanced at Fang Yu, and Fang Yu waved at him.
After Thor left, Yu Jihong looked at Fang Yu, who immediately covered her face with her hands.
"That's good, it's so straightforward to talk about it like this." Yu Jihong closed the door and walked home with Fang Yu.
"Fang Yu, you two like each other, and you're dating Lei Feng," Yu Jihong thought for a moment and then said, "Take care of yourself, don't get into that kind of relationship too early, okay?"
"Yes, Mom, I know." Fang Yu's voice carried a hint of shyness.
That night, Fang Yu lay in bed and licked her lips. She was in love with Thor, and they had even kissed. Fang Yu smiled secretly and buried her face in the pillow.
On Sunday morning, Yu Jihong went to the shop after breakfast. Fang Yu got up later and walked to the kitchen in her slippers.
The phone rang, and Fang Yu immediately guessed it was Thor. "Hello?"
"Baby fish, are you awake?"
"Just woke up."
"What do you want for breakfast? I'll bring it over for you."
"My mom cooked porridge."
"I'll bring a few more steamed buns to your house to eat."
Fang Yu was taken aback. "It's just porridge, there's nothing fancy."
"Just grab something quick for breakfast, wait for me, I'm coming."
Fang Yu hung up the phone and hurriedly washed her face, combed her hair, and changed her clothes.
Thor arrived shortly after, smelling the aroma of congee as he entered. "It's been so long since I've had homemade congee for breakfast," he said as he closed the door.
Don't you make breakfast at home?
"I just buy something to eat for breakfast. Are you going to wear these slippers?" Thor looked at the slippers by the door.
"Yes, I just took these out for you to wear. They might be a little small, as we don't have any men's slippers at home."
"Okay, no, not okay!" Thor smiled, hugged Fang Yu, and kissed her cheek.
"Don't you sleep in on weekends?" Fang Yu asked.
"I want to see you!" Thor followed behind her, his gaze fixed on her, his tone direct and passionate.
Fang Yu pursed her lips and turned to serve the porridge. She ladled the porridge into two white porcelain bowls, while Thor squatted down to inspect the water pipes that had been repaired that day.
Let's eat first!
Thor washed his hands and sat down at the table. The two of them ate porridge and steamed buns, their chopsticks making a soft sound as they tapped against the sides of the bowls. Thor suddenly said, "This feels more like a little family."
Fang Yu gripped the rim of the bowl and quickly lowered her head to shovel the porridge into her mouth. In fact, she also felt that the porridge in the morning light, the steaming buns, and the person next to her did indeed resemble "a young couple's morning."
"Does it look like it?" Fang Yu didn't answer, and Thor moved closer to her, his eyes shining with anticipation.
"picture!"
Thor smiled with satisfaction.
After breakfast, Thor started clearing away the dishes. "I'll wash them," Fang Yu said, taking them from him.
"I'm at my girlfriend's house, and you want me to be attentive? I'll do the washing." Thor took the bowl to the tap and rinsed it.
Fang Yu was standing next to him. "Go sit on the sofa for a bit," Thor said.
"Why does it feel like I'm at your home?" Fang Yu seemed like an outsider.
Thor shook his hand. "Are you waiting for me to come over together?"
Fang Yu handed a tissue to Thor, who wiped his hands and then put his arm around Fang Yu to sit on the sofa.
As soon as he sat down, he pounced on Fang Yu and kissed her.
