Chapter 39 Zhong Yan discovered that Ji Tan Yuan was quite a remarkable person.
Ji Tanyuan raised her hand to shield her eyes from the light.
Peeking through her fingers, she saw the man in the sports car staring at her expressionlessly.
Zhong Yan? Why would he come to Hujiang?
Shen Xiling followed her gaze, then let go of her hand: "He's here to pick you up, so I'll be going now."
Ji Tanyuan nodded, "Then drive carefully."
Zhong Yan coldly watched the couple. Ji Tanyuan was gentle and dignified, and Shen Xiling also had a proper demeanor. Judging from their demeanor alone, they were quite a good match.
Zhong Yan curled his lips in a silent, mocking smile. If he hadn't come, would they have had a sad reunion and embrace tonight?
Ji Tanyuan got into the car. "Why are you here?"
Zhong Yan said coldly, "What, did I interrupt your date with your old flame?"
Ji Tanyuan paused for a moment, "Where did you hear that? Xiling and I have never had any feelings for each other beyond friendship."
Zhong Yan scoffed, "You don't need to explain to me. I'm not curious. I just want to remind you that you are a married woman now."
Ji Tanyuan turned her head to look at him. The man was expressionless, and his angular profile was covered with a layer of frost.
"Are you angry? We were just having a simple meal."
Zhong Yan said coldly, "Why am I angry? What do I have to be angry about?"
Ji Tanyuan muttered to herself, clearly furious.
No, what is he angry about?
Zhong Yan, as if she could read her mind, said, "I don't want to be cuckolded."
Ji Tanyuan was displeased. What kind of talk was that?
"That's serious. There was nothing between us before, and there won't be in the future."
Zhong Yan sneered, "Who knows? Maybe some people just love seeking thrills."
Ji Tanyuan felt the sports car going faster and faster, fearing that the man might drive it into the river in a fit of anger. "Calm down, I don't have that kind of hobby."
Ji Tanyuan raised her hand to support his arm, changing the subject: "Why did you come to Hujiang?"
Zhong Yan said without changing his expression, "When I looked in the mirror, I noticed a faint green light above my head, so I came to check on you."
"I never expected that mirror would have such a magical effect. If I hadn't come, it would have turned into a real green hat. You're really something, Ji Tanyuan, putting a green hat on my own turf. You think I can't control you, huh?"
Ji Tanyuan really wanted to tear that mouth apart, but considering that he was driving, Ji Tanyuan took a deep breath and said, "Stop the car."
Zhong Yan parked the car on the side of the road. "You want to get out? Go ahead..."
Before he could even finish saying "please," Ji Tanyuan reached out and pinched his mouth, saying, "Your mouth stinks. Let me see if there's any evil spirit in it."
This was the first time Ji Tanyuan had taken action. She realized that when dealing with Zhong Yan, if you couldn't get the upper hand with words, you had to resort to physical force.
Zhong Yan felt Ji Tanyuan twist his mouth, rotating it 90 degrees. She really wanted to twist his mouth off. Zhong Yan grunted and grabbed her waist, pulling her into his arms with force. Ji Tanyuan had no cushioning and her arms went limp.
Zhong Yan touched his mouth, which felt a little numb, and looked up with a sinister smile: "Ji Tanyuan, you're asking for death."
Ji Tanyuan had had enough of his mouth, his sarcastic and incessant chatter.
"Why don't you act so violently towards others? You're only a bully at home."
Ji Tanyuan: "You slander people all day long. If I really wanted to cheat on you, you couldn't stop me."
Zhong Yan pinched her lips, "Your lips are quite something."
Ji Tanyuan then realized that she was kneeling on his lap, with the man's hand still pressed against her waist, in an intimate posture.
Ji Tanyuan nudged him, "Let me down."
Zhong Yan gripped her chin tightly, holding her firmly, and kissed her without allowing her to refuse: "Where do you want to go? You can come and go as you please?"
The man's lips descended, leaving no detail untouched.
The shirt was wrinkled and bunched up, and the man's hand moved up from his waist.
She moved little by little until she reached the bra.
Ji Tanyuan's eyes widened slightly, and she raised her hand to stop him. Almost simultaneously, the hidden clasp opened.
Snap.
Before Ji Tanyuan could react, the string in her heart, which had been taut for a short time, snapped like a hidden button.
She exclaimed in surprise, her lips bright red, plump and juicy like lychees, which made Zhong Yan's heart even hotter.
"What are you doing? This is the road."
Zhong Yan hummed in agreement, "The Bund night view is so romantic."
He was never a self-disciplined person; he believed that keeping things to himself would only benefit others. Morality was meant to bind others, not to restrain oneself.
Zhong Yan's rebellious nature is anti-human and utterly devoid of any moral character.
Ji Tanyuan is not like that. Car sex? Unless she's crazy.
"No way! Your car is very easy for street photographers to take pictures of, and if they see it, you're finished!"
Zhong Yan kissed the corner of her mouth again. "I have a certificate."
I have both a driver's license and a marriage certificate.
Ji Tanyuan covered his mouth, "Your mother won't scold you, she'll scold me. If she finds out, I'll definitely give her a lecture."
Zhong Yan's mouth was covered, and he squinted at her. Ji Tanyuan's eyes were filled with tears, and her shirt was unbuttoned, revealing her alluring figure.
Zhong Yan closed his eyes, and Ji Tanyuan, seeing him like this, straightened her clothes and sat in the passenger seat.
"Could you please stop saying things like 'I'm being cheated on' so casually in the future? If you say it too often, I'll start to believe it."
Zhong Yan didn't react for a moment, "Whhh...what?"
Ji Tanyuan repeated, "If you say it too many times, I might actually cheat on you, so please don't provoke me."
Zhong Yan discovered that Tan Yuan is quite a remarkable person this season.
How could she calmly say something so suicidal?
Zhong Yan nodded, "You're quite capable."
Ji Tanyuan turned her head to look out the window, refusing to look at him.
Zhong Yan drove directly to his house, which turned out to be in the same neighborhood as Ji Tanyuan.
It's an 800-square-meter duplex apartment, decorated mainly in black and white. It's still empty, except for a robot butler speaking English with a question mark on its screen.
Ji Tanyuan followed him inside. Before she could even put down her bag, the man turned around, grabbed her head, and kissed her.
Violent and urgent, lust instantly filled her body. The buttons she had just fastened were undone again. Ji Tanyuan was enveloped by the man's tall figure, her shirt slipped down, and her fragrant shoulders were half-exposed.
Zhong Yan bent over, the lingering afterglow of the deep kiss enveloping them. He bit her earlobe a few times: "I think I can make you happy, so why do you want to look at other men?"
"Tell me, I'm giving you free services and even paying you to have them, and I don't have any other women. What's wrong with you that you're looking for someone else?"
Ji Tanyuan took a few deep breaths, her collarbone heaving and turning bright red. "Are you even being reasonable? You've been accusing me of things that aren't even true."
Zhong Yan gently rubbed her lips. "You know better than I do that you should stop having ambiguous relationships with people you had before marriage."
Ji Tanyuan looked up. "Zhong Yan, are you jealous?"
Zhong Yan picked her up and said, "Now that you're officially Mrs. Zhong, you need to be mindful of your actions, especially in Shanghai. It won't look good if others see this."
“If the Zhong family finds out, you’re dead. My dad and grandpa care a lot about their reputation. Even my company has to consider the government’s feelings. What about you?”
Ji Tanyuan asked in surprise, "Does this mean I can't interact with men anymore?"
Zhong Yan looked down and gave her a knowing look.
“Shen Xiling isn’t your colleague. He’s from the Jiangnan faction’s leadership. You’ve already arranged a marriage between your family and ours in Yanjing. If you get close to them again, wouldn’t that make you seem like you’re trying to please both sides?”
She explained, "I just had a simple meal with him, and we only talked about personal matters. We won't have much contact in the future, so don't worry."
Zhong Yan gave her a deep look, and Ji Tanyuan blinked again, as if to say, "I'm telling the truth, and I'm very sincere."
Zhong Yan had nothing more to say, only love remained.
