Chapter 1 Time Travel

"Mother, Mother, wake up, sob sob."

"Let my mother go! Get out of here! Bad guys, get out of here!" the girl cried and shouted, her cries punctuated by the woman's harsh insults: "Get out of here, you brat! Don't delay my business!"

The woman with narrow eyes and upturned eyebrows put her hands on her hips and said obsequiously to the person next to her, "Old Yang, we've got it all figured out. Two taels of silver a night. The woman is already prepared for you. As for the money..." She then rubbed her hands together and winked with a sly smile.

"Here's the money, go keep watch outside." Yang Lao Er tossed out two coins and moved toward the wooden bed with a lewd grin.

The woman took a bite of the silver coin, her cruel smile deepening. "Young Master Yang, this is fun." With that, she grabbed the little girl by the collar and dragged her outside.

The little girl was dragged away, her eyes filled with tears, staring longingly at the woman in front of her, pleading, "Auntie, please don't sell my mother. If you have to sell someone, sell me instead. I don't eat much, sob sob sob. Please don't let bad people bully my mother."

"Shut up, you filthy hussy! You dare spoil the fun of the sugar daddy inside? I'll sell you off now!" The woman's sleeve was being pulled hard by the little girl. Her narrow eyes flashed with impatience. She spat on the ground and dragged the little girl out.

The little girl sniffed, bit her tiny teeth, and bit down hard on the hand that was holding her.

The woman, in pain, loosened her grip, and the little girl seized the opportunity to turn and run into the house, tugging at the bedside: "Mother, Mother, wake up, waaaah!"

The sounds of arguing and crying echoed in her ears. Su Jiao slowly opened her eyes and felt as if she had just watched an ancient drama. The Qing Dynasty had already fallen, so how could people still openly engage in human trafficking?

Her eyes darted around, and what came into view were mud-brick houses and dilapidated windows. Beside her, a man who was laughing like a bastard was dressed in green, but he had long hair and wore ancient clothing. Everything in front of her made her feel suspicious.

A sudden pain shot through her head, and memories that weren't hers flooded her mind. Su Jiao realized she had transmigrated to a remote, godforsaken village in ancient times.

The original owner of the body, Su Jiaoniang, was a typical young widow in ancient times. She was beautiful and had a slender waist, which attracted the attention of a villain in the village. Her elder sister-in-law, Zhu, betrayed her for money and gave her an overdose of sleeping pills, causing her to die. The only thing she was worried about before she died was her two children.

She, Su Jiao, is a 21st-century anti-drug police officer, a successor of Wing Chun, and a powerful and ruthless woman. After completing an anti-drug mission, she was accidentally shot and killed, and when she woke up, her identity had changed.

Seeing the little girl clutching her hand and crying so hard, her heart ached slightly. She knew that this was the original owner's longing for her child.

"Mother, you're awake! Waaah, Mother, Auntie wanted to sell you, and when my brother tried to stop her, they beat him up." The little girl stretched out her black, claw-like hand and pointed to the ground.

When Su Jiao saw the boy lying in a pool of blood, her mind went blank. The original owner of this body couldn't let go of these twins, and now the boy was lying in a pool of blood. She struggled to get out of bed.

"Young lady is awake..." The big frog standing by the bed saw Su Jiaoniang wake up and its eyes lit up. Before it could speak, it was punched so hard that it saw stars.

Su Jiao withdrew her hand, staring at the child lying in the pool of blood. Her heart clenched, and a feeling of suffocation washed over her. Such a small child! She bent down to pick up the little boy and put him on the bed. The moment she touched the child's wrist, a look of astonishment flashed in her eyes. The child still had a pulse. Dead people don't have pulses.

He quickly put the child on the bed, glanced at the little girl, and said, "Go and invite Grandpa Liu from the village. Your brother is still alive."

The little girl was stunned. Her eyes, filled with tears, widened as she stared at the little boy on the bed for a moment before turning and running away.

Su Jiaoniang gave the little boy a quick treatment of his wounds, then her gaze fell on the man who was groaning in pain.

The man rubbed his swollen eyes and said in a strange voice, "Su Jiaoniang, how dare you kick me! Your sister-in-law has already sold you to me, so you must submit to me today." With that, he pounced on Su Jiaoniang.

Su Jiao, now known as Su Jiao Niang, felt a surge of anger upon hearing the man's choked words. Her throat burned, her fists clenched so tightly they cracked, and with a slight raise of her eyebrows, she grabbed the man's groping hand and, with a chokehold, subdued him.

Her long legs weren't idle either; she kicked the man in the groin, saying, "I'll teach you to bully innocent people, I'll teach you to sell yourself!" She kicked and punched him, giving him a good beating. The police's tough woman never holds back when it comes to beating people.

She beat the man in front of her until his face was swollen like a pig's head. Zhu, who was blocking the girl outside, heard the commotion inside and ignored the girl who had run out, and walked into the house.

Su Jiaoniang caught sight of Zhu Shi approaching and instantly realized that this was the culprit who had drugged the original owner of the body, causing her to die. An unnamed fire surged in her chest, and she kicked the man, sending him flying straight towards Zhu Shi.

Zhu, who had been used as a human punching bag, rolled to the ground and looked at the man with his face pressed against hers. She quickly said, "Yang Fugui, get up right now. Don't try to take advantage of me."

"Pah! You ugly freak! Who's taking advantage of whom?" Yang Fugui struggled to his feet and kept a distance from Zhu Shi.

Su Jiaoniang watched the two bickering with a smile.

Zhu saw Su Jiaoniang smiling in the corner of her eye, and suddenly jumped back, raising her hand to slap Su Jiaoniang: "You slut, what are you laughing at? I'll beat you to death."

However, the current Su Jiaoniang is no longer a weak and easily bullied little dumpling.

Seeing Zhu approach, she suddenly stepped back.

Zhu slapped him, sending him spinning 270 degrees. With a crack, his ailing back snapped.

Seeing the sneer in Su Jiaoniang's eyes, Zhu Shi, supporting her aching back, gasped. She felt that Su Jiaoniang was acting strangely today. She looked at Yang Fugui and said, "Do you still want to deal with this slut? Hurry up."

Yang Fugui looked at Su Jiaoniang and met her cold gaze, feeling a slight chill in his heart.

"Want to sleep with me?" Su Jiaoniang tossed her hair and looked at Yang Fugui.

Yang Fugui shook his head violently, his instincts telling him that he had to back down now.

However, admitting defeat was useless. With a single chop to the neck, Su Jiaoniang knocked the cowardly Yang Fugui unconscious to the ground.

Zhu's mouth gaped open, she was so shocked she couldn't close it, and she stammered, "You, you killed someone."

"You're the one who killed someone!" Su Jiaoniang said, and gave Zhu a chop to the neck. Zhu's head lolled to the side and she lay stiffly next to Yang Fugui.

Seeing Zhu Shi and Yang Fugui lying unconscious on the ground, Su Jiaoniang breathed a sigh of relief and took two qian of silver from Zhu Shi and put it in her pocket.

Seeing the two people who had fainted, Su Jiaoniang had already made up her mind. She dragged them out, stripped them of their clothes, and threw them into the village chief's cowshed. She was someone who grew up under the red flag and would not do anything illegal or immoral, but she could not ignore the original owner's grudge.

Since these two conspired to harm the original owner's body, then let's retaliate in kind and make them lose their reputation and innocence.
