Chapter 14 All eunuchs will be castrated.

Su Jiaoniang was stunned. Her blood stopped flowing, and she felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar. The dream of becoming the factory supervisor was terrifying, so terrifying that it reminded Su Jiaoniang of the ending of this person in the book.

She found her voice and asked with restraint, "Child, do you know what a factory supervisor is?"

"A high-ranking official!" Lu Futu exclaimed. In his dream, the factory supervisor was second only to the emperor, and no one in the world could command him. Such a life was enviable.

Only then can it be called a dream.

However, Lu Futu had a vague feeling that something was wrong, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was.

Su Jiaoniang took a deep breath and said, "The Director of the Imperial Censorate is a eunuch. He was castrated here. He will have to squat to urinate and will have to stick a straw in his mouth. If he doesn't take good care of himself, he will have a strong smell of urine. He will have to find a way to cover up the smell. Otherwise, if the masters in the palace have any objections, he will lose his life."

Lu Futu's face turned pale. He looked down at his crotch. No wonder the person in his dream was so strange. His dream of becoming the factory supervisor in the future shattered at this moment.

But he instinctively felt that the person in his dream was him.

That is his future, as evidenced by the giant ginseng that was previously unearthed. Especially the person with the same name, the Director of Ceremonies, Lu Futu.

The five-year-old child vaguely felt that his brain was not quite up to par.

He didn't want to keep dreaming, he didn't want to dream about terrible things.

In a daze, I walked to the bed, closed my eyes, and uncontrollably drifted back into sleep. I saw that sinister face again, with its obsessive expression, unpredictable temperament, and even ruthless methods of killing. It made me, who had just fallen asleep, open my eyes immediately.

Suddenly, I sat up in bed and saw a round, bald man next to me muttering about eating meat in his dreams.

The little Buddha pursed his lips and walked into the courtyard.

At this moment, Su Jiaoniang washed the clothes in the yard, tidied up the yard, and started making cold noodles with Xiaoya. Washing the noodles was a time-consuming task. As night fell, they made them in the evening and delivered them to the Cai family first thing in the morning.

Life is stable and there is hope for the future.

Xiao Ya wants to be a cook, so naturally she wants to pass on her cooking skills to the little guy.

A five-year-old child is not yet mature and may easily cut themselves if they hold a kitchen knife, but a five-year-old child can wash vegetables and understand the original appearance of various foods.

I saw the small stupa swaying as it emerged from the main hall.

The usually quiet and aloof little cool boy's dazed appearance made Su Jiaoniang feel slightly uneasy. She washed her hands, walked to Xiao Futu's side, and touched the sweaty child: "Did you have a nightmare?"

"Hmm," Lu Futu uttered through his nose.

My mind is still filled with images of mountains of corpses and rivers of blood.

Although the image flashed by in the dream, it seemed to be etched into my mind.

He was heartbroken, feeling as if the blood in his body was cold and lifeless. He wanted to say something, to find someone to share his fear, but he couldn't describe the terrifying scene in his mind.

He tugged at Su Jiaoniang's sleeve, unusually sticking close to her side.

The little girl stretched out her thin finger and poked at the basin. Half of the flour had been washed, and her little finger had poked a hole in it.

The gluten stuck to her hands, which was strange and fun. Little Ya seemed to like the cook's directness even more.

Su Jiaoniang glanced at the little girl. The girl's fingers were clean and slender, so it was fine for her to poke them in the water.

Attention fell on Lu Futu: "Afraid?"

Lu Futu shook his head violently; he was not afraid!

How can a man say he's afraid!

Su Jiaoniang chuckled softly, her fingers gripping her clothes tightly. How could she be called fearless? She was clearly terrified to the core.

He gently patted Lu Futu's back, one pat at a time, until the child let go and his eyes calmed down.

She didn't know what the child was dreaming about, but when she was afraid, having someone nearby, a warm and living person, would dispel half of the fear and quickly calm her fluctuating emotions.

"Mother, I had a dream." Lu Futu took a deep breath, his voice slightly cold, and if you listened carefully, you could feel a slight tremor.

Su Jiaoniang did not urge him or show any impatience, but waited for Lu Futu to recount his nightmare.

However……

Once the child calmed down, he no longer felt like talking.

He turned and walked into the kitchen, staring at the ice crusher inside: "Mom, I want to eat shaved ice!"

"I'll make it for you." Su Jiaoniang chuckled and began making ice. She didn't hide the process from the children, making the shaved ice step by step, one bowl for Xiao Futu, one bowl for Xiao Ya, and one bowl for the little sick person inside.

Su Jiaoniang did not take her gaze off the Buddha.

Seeing that the child did not exhibit any antisocial behavior, I felt a little relieved and continued washing flour, steaming cold noodles, and steaming gluten. In the middle of the night, I finally prepared everything I needed for the next day, a satisfied smile on my face, and went back to my room to sleep.

A happy, fulfilling, and warm life rarely leads to a personality disorder.

It was another beautiful day.

Su Jiaoniang headed towards the county town, delivered the cold noodles, glanced at the shaved ice in her basket, thought of yesterday's guests, hesitated for a moment, and then headed towards the county school.

Smoothies can sell well anywhere, depending on the season.

However, the sales at the academy were obviously much faster, as most of the students there had never experienced hardship and their food, clothing, and daily necessities were extremely casual.

If they see something rare and happen to have some spare cash, they'll join in the fun and buy it.

Looking at the small, broken bowl she had brought, Su Jiaoniang realized for the first time that even a good business wasn't easy. She had few bowls, and each person had to finish eating before she could return the bowl, and then she had to wash it before she could continue serving the next person.
