Chapter 83: Bounty Hunter Gin
Kurosawa Jin looked at the two people in front of him, one was a guy with pink hair and squinty eyes, and the other was a guy who had slightly changed his facial features but was so perfunctory that he didn't even conceal his basic skin color.
The squinting man "accidentally" bumped into him, knocking over the food in his hands. The enthusiastic, gentle blond man took them to a suitable place to deal with it.
Kurosawa Jin looked at them and raised his eyebrows. After making sure that his weapons were still there, he followed them without saying a word and came to a hidden house, which seemed to be someone's safe house.
When there were only three of them left, the squinting man opened his eyes, revealing his beast-like green eyes.
No wonder he has to squint even when he is in disguise, these wild eyes are so special that they remind people of Akai Shuichi at first sight.
As for Bourbon next to him, Kurosawa Jin did not directly say that he was a public security officer. Since he came to see him, he had made a decision.
Bourbon smiled but didn't speak first. He dared to come because he had made preparations from the [organization], but as an undercover agent, it was actually not suitable for him.
But he wanted to negotiate with this visitor from another world in person to determine whether the other party was trustworthy and worthy of cooperation before he could proceed with the next plan.
Because of the other party's appearance, the various forces have finally reached a consensus, and even the CIA has sent probing messages.
After all, even if they are both undercover agents, the forces behind them are different, but what they are fighting for is the same, and cooperation is not something that can be achieved overnight.
But obviously the other party's appearance has made everyone feel urgent. If they can even travel to another world, what else can the [organization] in this world come up with?
So, after reaching a simple consensus, they went together to meet Kurosawa Jin who was waiting for them, and really wanted to have a talk with each other.
Kurosawa Jin, on the other hand, was very calm, as if this was his home, and sat casually on the sofa.
"I won't cooperate," he raised his dark green eyes and scanned the two people, "As long as the money is enough, I don't mind taking any type of commission. Of course, it has to be interesting enough."
Kurosawa Jin has no interest in being the leader who stirs up trouble. That is too tiring. He prefers to grasp what he wants most in a chaotic situation.
There was no emotion in his eyes beneath the brim of his hat. He was really bored now. He had no interest in anything. When he saw these two people, his original expectations became dull.
He knew this was not normal, and although he didn't need to become a normal person, the feeling of being deprived of his own emotions was indeed unpleasant no matter how many times it happened.
Kurosawa Jin first looked at Akai Shuichi. Even though he had no emotions at the moment, he still smiled like a hunter.
"Come on, red hounds, show me the chips that will make me more excited, or I don't mind becoming the second Gin."
This is not a threat, just a statement of facts. It is obvious that Kurosawa Jin is not prepared to continue to test them in twists and turns.
He was very clear that his condition was more serious than his condition in this world, but it didn't matter. He cared, but not completely.
Death is the fairest choice. Before making this choice, he doesn't care whether he lives long or not, but he cares whether he has no regrets.
Akai Shuichi and Furuya Rei looked at each other, and they both saw the caution in each other's eyes.
Cooperating with Kurosawa Jin is undoubtedly like plotting against a tiger. From the last cooperation, it can be seen that the other party is a person who likes to stir up trouble and play both black and white.
But at the same time, the benefits that can be brought to the other side are also huge. The progress of the last action has greatly advanced their understanding of the [organization].
They sat down, put on false smiles and started negotiating with Kurosawa Jin.
Kurosawa Jin looked at the two of them, and no one knew what he was thinking in his indifferent dark green eyes, but there was no doubt that he was happy to see the scene before him.
His needs are not hard to find: he wants money, he wants benefits, he wants information, he wants initiative, he demands endlessly like a greedy beast.
But since he dared to say so, it meant that he was sure that the other party would agree.
——————————
The cooperation was finally achieved, but it was obvious that there were some hidden things between the individuals, so it can only be said that a preliminary consensus was reached.
To deal with such a huge monster as [the organization], they obviously need to be fully prepared, and they are not ready yet.
When both of them were about to go back with serious faces, Kurosawa Jin suddenly called them: "Oh, by the way, I have another thing."
He searched his pocket and took out the USB flash drive that the [Organization] had been pursuing for a long time. Of course, they all knew the importance of the USB flash drive, and both eyes were fixed on Kurosawa Jin.
Kurosawa Jin just shook the USB drive in his hand and said casually, "It contains important information of the [Organization], but during this period of time, the [Organization] has already made security measures. When you open this USB drive, your location and information will probably be exposed."
This is a great bait. Having tasted the sweetness, the BOSS has become increasingly irrational. In his eyes, he will probably soon achieve immortality, and then no one will have to fear.
So when [the organization] was offended once again, he absolutely could not tolerate it again. He felt that the world belonged to him, let alone the tiger's whiskers.
Kurosawa Jin didn't give them the USB drive, but just smiled and looked at their expressions, his heart surging with emotions.
"I can't guarantee when I'll use him, but I hope you'll be ready when that happens."
He certainly doesn't have much patience and time, and he won't allow himself to become a target for others.
"I understand." Akai Shuichi narrowed his eyes again and answered gently, and it was impossible to tell what he was thinking.
He left neatly, but Bourbon smiled and said, "GIN, this is my safe house. You should leave as tactfully as that FBI agent."
Hearing this, Kurosawa Jin sat even more relaxed. He looked at Bourbon and said with interest, "Since you are a public security officer, then Scotland is one too."
His words were affirmative, and it was obvious that he had already confirmed it. After all, in his own world, the relationship between Bourbon and Scotland was indeed not ordinary. He could certainly see that.
Bourbon was too lazy to repeat what he said, so he just took a few steps and walked in front of Kurosawa Jin.
He lowered his purple-gray eyes and looked down at Kurosawa Jin, as if he was going to devour him in the next second.
But the person being looked at did not change at all. He raised his neck and looked at Bourbon, as if to reveal his vulnerability, but he just looked at him as if he was an insignificant pet, not paying any attention or care.
"GIN, I don't think your purpose is to make the water turbid. That way, even you won't get much benefit, right?"
Bourbon asked softly, his voice seemed to carry some pleading of weakness, but his eyes were still warm and bright, and even wearing a mask could not conceal his ferocity.
Kurosawa Jin just tilted his head slightly and replied coldly: "Of course I know what I want. But if you, Bourbon, want your dear friend to live, you might as well kneel down and beg me now."
His offensive words were obviously meant to irritate Bourbon. If there was any purpose behind them, it was probably just because he thought it was fun.
No one knows what kind of information Kurosawa Jin has in his hands, but facts have proved that he does know something that others don't know - the future.
Bourbon's smile didn't seem to change at all, but perhaps because the distance was too close, Kurosawa Jin could sense his surprise and anger.
I was not angry at the mockery of myself, but at the contempt for Scottish life in his words.
So, this kind of people are easiest to be caught in, but they are also the most difficult to deal with.
Bourbon suddenly stretched out his hand and grabbed Kurosawa Jin by the collar. When he was about to lift him up, the other party took advantage of his strength and pushed him down.
The two men exchanged a few simple moves and finally remained in the same position as at the beginning, except that the distance between them was closer. Bourbon could clearly see Kurosawa Jin's eyes.
Sure enough, from beginning to end, he never had any emotion, not a bit of hesitation, as if everything didn't matter to him.
He didn't know what had happened to Kurosawa Jin, but he knew that the actions of the [Organization] were very important and must not be treated in such a frivolous manner.
“Hahahahahaha,” Bourbon suddenly grinned, his pretty face blooming but slowly spitting out venom, “Look at you, GIN, you have no emotions, you are no longer a human being.”
He looked at Kurosawa Jin, who had no expression on his face, and continued, "The concept of [freedom] belongs to humans, right? Mr. Monster, can you tell me what you think now?"
Kurosawa Jin looked at Bourbon. He really felt the anger he hadn't felt for a long time. What made him even angrier was that he didn't feel anything about what Bourbon said.
He felt like a person whose fake skin had been torn off, exposed to the eyes of others, and felt indescribable anger because the other party was right.
"Ha, that's great," Kurosawa laughed in anger. His movements were extremely fast. He had been through the experiment and was not able to react instinctively when he was using all his strength. "You are really great."
He repeated it softly, took out his gun and pulled the trigger without hesitation, shooting straight through Bourbon's abdomen. It wasn't a fatal injury, but it wasn't a minor one either.
Kurosawa Jin raised his gun, tapped his temple with the hot muzzle, and said softly, "Since you know I have a problem, you'd better not provoke me."
"I don't expect you to treat me like your master, but you'd better hold my tail tight," Kurosawa Jin said with a light smile, "If I do that, I might even reward you with some meat and bones."
He stood up straight, not letting Bourbon's blood stain his body, and lowered his eyes slightly to look at the person who was holding his breathing.
Kurosawa Jin put away his gun and looked down at Bourbon. He seemed to be in a good mood: "It's a very novel experience, and it's worth the reward."
After his anger was swallowed up by the drug again, Kurosawa Jin still felt somewhat happy to feel such emotions.
So he reached out his hand, tapped Bourbon's face with the cold barrel of his gun, and said with a smile, "In three months at most, the boss will be dead."
The data provided by Kurosawa Jin are all genuine. Even if the boss uses them for drug testing, he won't be able to find out anything. However, some things will have specific reactions.
The old crow, blinded by the appearance of Gin's loyal dog and the ecstasy of the upcoming realization of longevity, can't wait too much longer.
"Oh, by the way, I just confirmed that Scotland is a very good partner for you."
Your best friend was exposed to the wolf because of you, so if anything happens in Scotland in the future, Bourbon will be the one to blame.
One of the few things he and Gin have in common is that they both hold grudges, and no one can really offend their bottom line.
Kurosawa Jin did not stay any longer. Bourbon would call someone to treat him after he left anyway, so he would not die anyway.
He turned and left. Not sure if it was an illusion, Bourbon actually saw a few golden hairs mixed in with the long silver hair under the light.
