Gu Nianqiang spoke sincerely, and even though she sensed that something was wrong with Du Yi, she was still willing to stay by her side.
Du Yi's smile was devoid of any warmth; instead, it was chillingly cold.
Gu Nianqiang asked cautiously, "Mom, you've never been one to keep secrets. If something has happened, I hope you'll tell me. I can help you. If you think I've done something wrong, you can hit me or scold me."
The more Du Yi looked at her, the more she seemed like a family person, and the more she thought about everything she had experienced in the past twenty years.
