Jiang Yilai took a few steps.
She belatedly realized that there was no one else in the restaurant today; it seemed that she was the only one there.
Looking towards the edge of the top floor, she finally saw a person sitting in the very edge.
The man was wearing a shirt and trousers, his tie was off, and two buttons on his shirt collar were undone, giving him a casual and everyday look, yet he exuded an undeniable air of nobility.
He lowered his head slightly, and the light shone on his face, making it difficult to see his expression.
But the chilling aura emanating from him could be felt even from a great distance.
As if hearing footsteps, the man looked up, and the moment he saw Jiang Yilai clearly, the coldness on his body seemed to melt away, and a hint of tenderness appeared in his eyes.

Just then, the waiter brought hot water. She thanked him and casually changed the subject: "Why are you eating here today? Is there something you need?"
"No." Fu Nanxiao coughed lightly. "I'm not busy today, so I'm taking you out for a nice meal."
He paused, then added, "We'll be going to different places often in the future—on dates."
Dating?
Jiang Yilai was taken aback; she had always thought it was just a simple dinner.
So today is a date?
Jiang Yilai looked at Fu Nanxiao, whose dark eyes seemed to hold some unease.
She couldn't help but laugh.
She smiled and said reproachfully, "You should have said so earlier! If I had known, I would have changed into a different dress and dressed up more carefully before coming."
Fu Nanxiao's gaze fell on her face.
Under the lamplight, her face, though without makeup, remained fair and delicate, with gentle eyes and a radiant smile, sweeping away her recent worries and anxieties.

The melodious sound of a violin began at just the right moment.
Performers in tuxedos and waiters carrying roses filed in.
Almost instantly, they found themselves surrounded by a sea of flowers.
