Seeing this, Gu Ming'en immediately shouted angrily, "Stop! My mother is old and her limbs are stiff. If you tie her up like this, she won't be able to move at all. Untie her right now!"
Grandma Gu shook her head in pain. The kidnapper frowned, worried that something might happen to her at this moment, so he had no choice but to untie her and tie her to the front of her body instead.
Gu Ming'en gritted his teeth and warned, "If you dare to hurt my mother, I will make you pay a terrible price."
The kidnapper walked up to him and punched him, saying menacingly, "Shut up. If you don't get the money you're talking about, I'll tear you to pieces."
Grandma Gu felt sorry for her son when she saw him being beaten and called out to him.
"Ming En, we shouldn't fight them. Preserving our lives is the most important thing. Listen carefully, money is just an external thing. We can earn it again, but you must find a way to get out of here!"
When Grandma Gu said the last few words, she emphasized them, hoping he would understand her good intentions.
A hint of surprise flashed in Gu Ming'en's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.
He replied firmly, “Mother, don’t worry, I know what to do. Just be careful on your journey.”
The kidnappers had no time to appreciate the mother and son's affection; they pushed the old woman's shoulder and urged her to leave quickly.
After Old Mrs. Gu left, Gu Ming'en began to ponder her words and realized there was more to them than met the eye.
The kidnappers led Grandma Gu out of the abandoned factory. She looked at the patterns painted on the wall, and a smile appeared on her lips that no one else could detect.
When they arrived at the car, Grandma Gu suddenly clutched her stomach, showing signs of discomfort.
The kidnapper said irritably, "What's wrong with you now, you old woman?"
Grandma Gu said uncomfortably, "My stomach hurts so much, I need to go to the toilet."
The kidnapper looked impatient. "Why so much trouble!"
Grandma Gu looked frightened and aggrieved: "Old people are all like this. I'm afraid I'll get the car dirty later. It'll be quick."
Look at her old bones, and there are three of them there. Even if she ran away, she wouldn't escape their grasp.
The kidnapper waved his hand impatiently: "Go now!"
Grandma Gu raised her hand with difficulty again, and the kidnapper's brows furrowed. In order not to waste time, he quickly untied her ropes.
Grandma Gu rubbed her hands, which were red from being tied with ropes, and turned to walk towards the ruins behind her.
The kidnappers chuckled smugly, thinking that they would make a fortune if they could take the old woman back with them.
Two minutes passed and the old lady didn't come out, so the kidnappers shouted in displeasure.
"Old woman, are you done yet? Come out quickly."
When his calls went unanswered, the kidnapper became enraged and stormed over, only to suddenly stop abruptly as he approached the ruins and then collapse.
The two people behind him rushed forward to check on the situation, only to find themselves in the same predicament, collapsing to the ground within seconds.
Grandma Gu slowly walked out of the ruins, her eyes showing no emotion at the scene before her.
"You can come out now!"
At her command, the men lying in ambush nearby immediately appeared, each holding a tranquilizer gun, awaiting her next instructions.
Grandma Gu took a deep breath. She hadn't expected that her secret weapon would come in handy.
"How are the arrangements?"
"The sniper is already protecting the old man and ensuring his safety."
“Very good. After their performance, we should close the net and bring all of them back to the country. I want to interrogate them personally.”
"Understood, everything is proceeding according to your plan."
Grandma Gu nodded in satisfaction; being prepared for a rainy day was indeed the right choice.
