After gathering her thoughts, she looked up and asked, "Where have you been these past few nights?"
Fu Nanxiao's heart skipped a beat.
He glanced at Jiang Yilai's expression and explained, "Gu Nianqiang is sick, I'm going to take a look."
"What illness?"
Jiang Yilai's face was as pale as paper, but her eyes seemed to be burning with fire.
Fu Nanxiao remained silent.
Jiang Yilai felt a dull ache in her heart when he didn't answer.
She stared at him and pressed, "What illness does she have that makes you sleep with her every night?"
Fu Nanxiao rubbed his temples wearily.
He sighed, "Jiang Yilai, don't overthink things."
Jiang Yilai's expression gradually crumbled.
She really had an urge to scream hysterically.
Fu Nanxiao's avoidance will really drive her crazy.
Jiang Yilai's eyes welled up with tears. She lay down and covered herself with the covers: "You should go."
Fu Nanxiao looked at her, feeling utterly helpless.
He's been really busy lately.
Besides the things that can be handled on a computer in the ward, there are many meetings to attend and many partners to meet.

The next day, Jiang Yilai packed her things and prepared to go home.
The bodyguards exchanged bewildered glances: "Madam, the master didn't say anything..."
Jiang Yilai said calmly, "Going home is the same as staying in the hospital. You can either come with me or go report to Fu Nanxiao now."
One bodyguard immediately went to the side to make a phone call, while the other stood guard at the door.
Jiang Yilai tugged at the corner of her lips.
Du Yi was right when she said that she was nothing more than a figurehead as Mrs. Fu.
Soon, the bodyguard ran back and took the bag from her hand: "Madam, let's go."
Once in the car, Jiang Yilai asked, "Did Fu Nanxiao order you to follow me every step of the way?"
The bodyguard turned around and said respectfully, "Mr. Fu is worried that what happened last time might happen again, so he asked us to protect you."
"What if I want to go somewhere by myself?"
"We can take you there."
Jiang Yilai paused for a moment, then asked, "So, do you also need to report my itinerary to Fu Nanxiao?"
The bodyguard gave her a troubled look but didn't say anything.
Jiang Yilai didn't ask any more questions; she turned to look out the window.
Her hand unconsciously rested on her lower abdomen.
In the operating room, the hospital director said that her pregnancy was somewhat unstable and that she needed to have regular prenatal checkups and take medication.
She needs to find a way to get Fu Nanxiao to remove the bodyguards.
When I got home, Uncle Liu immediately came to greet me.
"Madam, you're finally back! How are you feeling? Your husband said you needed to rest and wouldn't let me visit you. I was so worried about you."
Jiang Yilai smiled and said, "I'm fine, Uncle Liu. Is there anything to eat? I'm hungry."
"Yes, yes, I've asked the kitchen to make chicken soup. Madam, you can rest for a bit, I'll bring it up in a little while."
"Thanks."
Jiang Yilai went upstairs to rest for a while and felt much better.
Just then, Uncle Liu brought up the chicken soup.
The chicken soup was cooked perfectly, and it smelled wonderful.
But as soon as Jiang Yilai saw it, her stomach churned.
She couldn't help but gag a few times.
