Jiang Yilai opened the car door and got out, her nervousness visibly evident as she approached Fu Nanxiao.
Fu Nanxiao glanced at her, then looked at the ordinary yet cozy little courtyard behind her.
Why are you here?
"If you refuse to answer the phone, I'll come over personally to assign you tasks."
Jiang Yilai did hang up on him twice, but that wouldn't warrant her coming to his door.
"I made it very clear yesterday that I will no longer listen to your arrangements. Do whatever you want."
Fu Nanxiao's eyes darkened as he approached her: "Are you sure you don't want to listen?"
Jiang Yilai stood firmly in place and replied resolutely, "What exactly do you want to do?"
Fu Nanxiao laughed and said, "You're waiting for Li Luyao, but he's not coming."
Jiang Yilai asked anxiously, "What do you mean by that? What did you do to him?"
"Nothing much, I just couldn't stand this guy, so I taught him a lesson."
Fu Nanxiao spoke with a relaxed expression, but it made Jiang Yilai extremely anxious.
No wonder he didn't show up at the agreed time and we couldn't contact him; it turns out he was the one causing trouble.
"You don't need to target him like this."
"I've said it before, I don't like people disobeying me, and this is your fault."
Jiang Yilai clenched her fist: "If you still hold a grudge about what happened back then, then let me tell you, I was also a victim. You don't need to keep pursuing me."

She used to be gentle and charming in front of him, but now she's sharp-tongued and keeps saying she's helping other men. How could Fu Nanxiao not be angry?
"I'd like to see just how much you're capable of not forgiving me."
As Fu Nanxiao was speaking, he grabbed Jiang Yilai's hand and tried to pull her into his car, when a reprimanding voice suddenly came from behind him.
"You bad person, let her go."
The childish voice carried a fierce yet endearing tone, clearly indicating that the child was very angry.
Fu Nanxiao turned around when he heard the voice, and Jiang Yilai's face turned pale.
It must have been Jiang Wenchao who saw her being pulled away and thought she was in danger, so he ran out to help her.
Fu Nanxiao looked at the somewhat familiar little boy in front of him, then at the flustered woman in his hand, and asked curiously, "Who is he?"
Without waiting for Jiang Yilai's reply, Jiang Wen strode forward and loudly declared his identity.
“I am his son. Let go of my mother. If you dare to hurt her, I will not be polite to you. I used to think you were a good person, but I didn’t expect you to be such a bastard.”
Upon hearing the voice clearly, Fu Nanxiao realized that it was the little boy who had been looking for his sister at the police station.
But remembering who he is is one thing, but what's with him calling Jiang Yilai 'Mom'?
