Chapter 201 Escape

Jiang Yilai groped around on the ground for a long time before finally finding a thin piece of iron.

She held the metal sheet in her palm and desperately cut the rope with her other hand.

However, the thin iron sheet is not a blade, so the progress is very slow.

With her hands tied behind her back, Jiang Yilai found it inconvenient to move around, so she could only hold the metal plate against her palm. After only a few minutes, her palm began to sting slightly.

Jiang Yilai didn't stop; a thin layer of sweat appeared on her forehead, and the panic in her heart made her exert all her strength.

My hand was cut, and the sharp edges pierced my flesh.

My palms felt sticky; I couldn't tell if it was sweat or blood.

Jiang Yilai felt as if a taut string was stretched in her mind; her hand was hurting more and more, and the pain seemed to be drilling into her brain through her meridians.

But she didn't dare stop for even a second.

After an unknown amount of time, just as Jiang Yilai's hands were trembling with pain and she could barely hold the metal plate, the rope finally snapped!

Jiang Yilai felt a sense of relief.

She relaxed and realized that she was already covered in sweat.

She quickly untied the rope and removed the blindfold from her eyes.

As expected, it was a dilapidated warehouse, surrounded by abandoned equipment and dirty garbage.

Jiang Yilai quickly glanced around.

The warehouse door was locked from the outside, and the window had a hole that was at least two people high, making it almost impossible for her to climb up.

Jiang Yilai mustered her courage and looked out through the warehouse door.

There was only that van parked not far away, and no one was there.

She was afraid the robbers hadn't gone far, so she didn't dare make a loud noise.

Jiang Yilai looked around and found a machine she could move, which she then stacked in front of the window.

The old, dilapidated machine made a creaking sound, and Jiang Yilai climbed up cautiously, afraid that she might slip and fall.

Finally, her hand reached the windowsill!

Jiang Yilai's right hand was covered in blood, but she didn't care and climbed up using both her hands and feet.

The abandoned windows were easy to open.

Looking down from above, the wall was so high it made her legs weak.

But she didn't dare to delay. She hung her hands on the wall and pressed her body against it to minimize the impact of landing.

Just as she was hanging on the wall, about to let go and jump, there was a creaking sound and the warehouse door opened.

"Damn it, where are they?!"

"Holy crap, that woman ran away!"

"Go after them right now!"

The noise startled Jiang Yilai, and she involuntarily loosened her grip.

Bang!

With a muffled thud, Jiang Yilai fell to the ground.

She rolled on the ground a few times, enduring the pain all over her body, and got up to run away.

"They're over there, hurry and chase after them!"

Jiang Yilai ran forward desperately, but there was nothing around her, so how could she possibly outrun several burly men?

Within minutes, she was dragged back to the warehouse.

This time, she was firmly tied to a chair, with no chance of escape.

Snap!

The tattooed man slapped Jiang Yilai hard across the face.

"Damn it, you dare to run away!"

The tall man who had driven her car appeared out of nowhere. He looked at the man with tattooed arms and said, "Boss, this woman is ruthless. She jumped off such a high place!"

The tattooed man's face was grim: "Everyone be careful, if she gets away, none of us will escape unscathed!"

"yes!"

The pain brought tears to Jiang Yilai's eyes, and her face turned pale: "What exactly do you want?!"

"Behave yourself!"

"Boss, Mo Hu is calling!"

"Keep an eye on her!"

The man with the tattooed arm took the phone and turned to the side to answer it.
