Pei Minghan didn't take these words to heart at all, and just gave a cold laugh as she spoke.
"I have no way of giving birth to an heir for the Pei family. If Grandpa finds out about this, I will no longer be able to become the heir of the Pei family. What use am I then?"
Madam Pei sat down by the bedside, held Pei Minghan's hand, and spoke to him earnestly in a low voice.
"Silly child, I am your mother. No matter what you become, you will always be my son. I carried you for ten months and gave birth to you with great difficulty. How could I not love you?"
"Don't worry, Mom has a way, we definitely have a way."

"But I heard that Grandpa Zhang has cancer. How can it be the same as mine?"
When Madam Pei heard her son ask this question, she immediately laughed.
"That legendary healer claims he can cure any disease. A doctor like him must be a general practitioner, so you can rest assured."
Pei Minghan then felt a glimmer of hope and anxiously urged Madam Pei.
"Where is he now? Where is he? Hurry up and bring him here! Get him to treat my illness right away! I can't wait a moment longer. If Grandpa finds out! If the outside world finds out, I'll be utterly disgraced for the rest of my life!"
