When Ye Ningwan saw the suitcase Tang Ruanruan was pulling, she raised an eyebrow in surprise and then asked.

Tang Ruanruan knew what Ye Ningwan was talking about, and she nodded firmly.
"I don't want to stay in the Ye family anymore, can you take me away?"
As she spoke, her eyes reddened, and she seemed cautious, as if worried that Ye Ningwan would refuse.
After all, when Ye Ningwan offered to take her away before, she refused for her mother's sake.
But now she's changed her mind. What if Wanwan thinks she's fickle and then...?
Tang Ruanruan lowered her head, her wisps of hair falling down her forehead and obscuring her eyes. She clutched the hem of her clothes tightly, so nervous that she could barely speak.
Tang Ruanruan was filled with a thousand hesitations, but Ye Ningwan walked closer to her step by step, took her arm, and said softly.
"Let's go."
It was just two simple words, but when they reached Tang Ruanruan's ears, she excitedly looked up, her almond-shaped eyes sparkling, tears welling up as she gazed at Ye Ningwan, her voice trembling with excitement.
"Wanwan, sob sob, I'm so sorry..."
Ye Ningwan rubbed Tang Ruanruan's head and sighed.
"Let's get out of here first."

Aunt Li's old face was full of wrinkles. She frowned, opened her arms, and glanced arrogantly at the large box in Tang Ruanruan's hand.
"Leave everything behind, we need to check! Open the boxes!"
Tang Ruanruan's face turned ugly, and she gritted her teeth and weakly spoke to Aunt Li.
"These are all my private things, what right do you have to give them to me?!"
Aunt Li snorted coldly, abruptly interrupting Tang Ruanruan.
"Who knows if you stole anything! Of course, we need to check first!"
After saying that, Aunt Li raised her hand and waved it fiercely at the servants behind her, giving them a command.

At Aunt Li's command, several servants, each about twice the size of Tang Ruanruan, rushed towards her and reached out to grab the suitcase from her hands.
Tang Ruanruan immediately shrank back behind Ye Ningwan, clutching Ye Ningwan's clothes, and let out a low cry of fear.

The next second, before the maid's hand even touched the box in Tang Ruanruan's hand, Ye Ningwan had already kicked out.

The maid curled up into a ball and tumbled down the stairs.
Ye Ningwan coldly watched as the maid lay sprawled on the ground, groaning in pain, unable to stand up no matter how hard she struggled. A cold, mocking smile curled at the corner of her lips.
Her gaze swept over the few remaining servants, her eyebrows slightly raised.
"Who else wants to make a move?"
The servants' faces twitched, and they took a few steps back in fear, each with their heads down, not daring to make eye contact with Ye Ningwan. They certainly didn't dare to provoke her.
Ye Ningwan withdrew her gaze, gave a soft chuckle, and pulled Tang Ruanruan to prepare to go downstairs.
The servants immediately stepped aside, no longer daring to block Ye Ningwan's path.
They didn't want to be kicked downstairs by Ye Ningwan and end up lying in the hospital for months.
Tang Ruanruan, who was being led by Ye Ningwan's hand, breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that she had finally escaped a disaster. However, Aunt Li suddenly reached out and blocked Ye Ningwan's path, while her other hand suddenly grabbed the suitcase that Tang Ruanruan was carrying.
"Stop right there! Who said you could leave? Leave your things here, or nobody's leaving today!"
Tang Ruanruan almost had her suitcase snatched away by Aunt Li, so she quickly took a few steps forward to grab it back.
"Give it back to me!"

Aunt Li pulled her forcefully forward, and she was about to fall down the high stairs.

Looking down at the abyss-like drop below and at the unconscious maid lying on the ground, she closed her eyes in despair.
However, the imagined feeling of falling did not occur. Instead, her collar was suddenly tugged, and she fell backward into Ye Ningwan's arms. Ye Ningwan then wrapped her arms around her waist and quickly pulled her to the side.
"Get to the side and hide!"
Tang Ruanruan nodded, then immediately ducked downstairs and ran after the box that had rolled down the stairs.
