Ye Ningwan answered the phone, listened to what the person on the other end said, and smiled slightly.
"Sure, as long as Young Master Ye is willing to pay the settlement fee, I'll be there right away!"
The person on the other end of the phone finally breathed a sigh of relief, their heart finally at ease, and said excitedly.
"Alright, let's meet at the Municipal Bureau in two hours."
Ye Ningwan hung up the phone, closed her laptop, and prepared to get up.
She turned around and was immediately confronted by Li Mochuan standing behind her.
Ye Ningwan was basically immune to Li Mochuan, who would occasionally stand behind her, but her expression would still be a little unnatural.
She smiled at Li Mochuan.
"Mr. Li, are you standing behind me again, deliberately trying to scare me?"
Li Mochuan looked at her with a half-smile.
"I knocked, but you were too focused on your stocks to hear me, so I had to come in myself."
Ye Ningwan raised an eyebrow, looking at Li Mochuan thoughtfully.
This person had been in here for so long without me noticing.
"Did Mr. Li need something from me?"
Then I heard Li Mochuan say.
"The Ye family wants to reconcile with you?"
Ye Ningwan didn't know why Li Mochuan asked that, but she still nodded and teased him with a smile.
"As expected of you, you're so well-informed. I just received a call from the Ye family's lawyer."
Li Mochuan remained noncommittal, only speaking to Ye Ningwan.
"Let's go, the car is ready."
Looking at Li Mochuan's expression, Ye Ningwan suddenly had a bad feeling.
She asked.
"Are you coming with me?"
Li Mochuan countered with a question.
"You don't want to?"
Ye Ningwan laughed and said to Li Mochuan.
"Of course not. I would be more grateful if Mr. Li could be my supporter. I thank you in advance. I'll be counting on you when the time comes."
Li Mochuan smiled and looked down at Ye Ningwan. The woman in front of him was petite, and her beautiful, thick face had an innocent smile on it, as if she really was the little woman she described herself as.
But in reality, only Li Mochuan knew that when this woman was cut open, her bones were black.
"OK."
He said.

Inside the mediation room of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.
The Ye family father and son had arrived, and even Mei Aiqing, who had previously refused to show her face, appeared in the mediation room.
Ye Zhenning glanced down at his watch, his brows furrowed, and finally couldn't help but urge him on.
"Why hasn't Ye Ningwan arrived yet? Does she want some other benefits? This..."
The curse words were on the tip of Ye Zhenning's tongue, but after glancing at Luo Rui sitting at the head of the table, he immediately swallowed them back and glared at the lawyer with a sullen face.
The lawyer quickly explained.
"Ye Ning was two hours late for the appointment, but it hasn't arrived yet, so she's not considered late."
Ye Zhenning snorted coldly and continued to urge him impatiently.
"Then call her and urge her. She's getting more and more inconsiderate as she gets older, making so many people wait for her here!"
The lawyer had no choice but to call Ye Ningwan.
“Miss Ye, Chairman Ye and…” The lawyer glanced at Mei Aiqing sitting in the far corner and added, “The Chairman’s wife has already arrived. Are you on your way?”
No sooner had the lawyer finished speaking than Ye Ningwan's voice came from outside the door.
"Is Chairman Ye so worried about Ye Ruoxin? He doesn't even want her to stay inside for half an hour longer. It seems I asked for too low a price!"
Almost simultaneously, the door to the mediation room was pushed open.
Ye Ningwan stood at the door of the mediation room with a smile on her face, her gaze sweeping over each person inside.
Ye Zhenning suddenly stood up and slammed his hand on the table.
"Ye Ningwan, don't push your luck. You've made so many people wait here for almost half an hour, and you still think you're right? When you make an appointment to meet your elders, you should arrive earlier. Don't you even have this much manners?"
Ye Ningwan gave a mocking laugh to herself.
As expected of Ye Zhenning, he completely ignored the second half of Ye Ningwan's sentence and instead gave Ye Ningwan a severe scolding.
Normally, Ye Ningwan would have already berated Ye Zhenning until he couldn't say a word, but now Ye Ningwan surprisingly didn't say a word, and walked in with a gentle and faint smile on her face.
"This is not my fault. Chairman Ye, blame my incompetent driver. He drove too slowly."
After speaking, Ye Ningwan turned to look behind her.
"Mr. Li, Chairman Ye said you have no manners!"
Ye Zhenning's expression was uncertain, and he immediately retorted.
"Ye Ningwan, what nonsense are you talking about? When did I ever say that..."
Before Ye Zhenning could finish speaking, Li Mochuan walked in.
"Is Chairman Ye teaching me how to do things?"
The moment Ye Zhenning saw Li Mochuan, his fierce demeanor vanished instantly, as if a ferocious lion had turned into a helpless chick.
"Mr. Li... Mr. Li... why... why are you here?"
Li Mochuan glanced at Li Mochuan with a half-smile, and asked in a lukewarm tone.
"What, can't I come?"
Ye Zhenning immediately said.
"No...of course not...I just didn't expect to trouble you with such a small matter!"
Li Mochuan walked into the mediation room, took the first seat in the middle, turned his head and waved to Ye Ningwan, pulled out the chair next to him and patted it.
"Come and sit down."
Ye Ningwan readily sat down, gave Ye Zhenning across from her a meaningful glance, and said with a cold smile.
