Upon hearing this, Madam Pei's face immediately darkened, and she nearly jumped up, yelling at Miss Pei like a dog whose tail had been stepped on.

Madam Pei snorted coldly, rolled her eyes in annoyance, and spoke in a cool tone.
"Since you have so much free time, why don't you go and try to persuade the old man?"

Pei Mingzhu certainly couldn't be provoked by the words of the eldest daughter of the Pei family.
