Ye Ruoxin looked at Ye Ningwan inside the Aston Martin, a hint of jealousy flashing in her eyes.
Seeing that Li Mochuan had already gotten into the car, Ye Ruoxin quickly walked a few steps to catch up, put her hands on the car window, and said sweetly to Li Mochuan in the passenger seat with a blush on her face.
"Mr. Li, thank you for rescuing me. Otherwise, I don't know what would have happened to me inside. I really don't know how to thank you enough."
As Ye Ruoxin finished speaking, she lowered her head slightly, presenting her face at a 45-degree angle to Li Mochuan, which was the most flattering angle of her face.
Li Mochuan glanced at Ye Ruoxin, a slight smile playing on his lips as he looked at her pitiful face.
This face wasn't as glamorous and intense as Ye Ningwan's; instead, it had a delicate and demure look, like that of a girl from a humble family. She appeared obedient and fragile, the kind of face any man would find attractive.
"Miss Ye, you're too kind."
Li Mochuan treated Ye Ruoxin quite well.
Of course, this is in comparison to how he treats others. After all, in Li Mochuan's eyes, others are like insects on the ground or dust in the air; he doesn't treat them as human beings at all.
And so, Ye Ruoxin became excited, and a certain unrealistic expectation rose in her heart.
She secretly gave Ye Ningwan in the driver's seat a smug and provocative look before continuing to speak to Li Mochuan in a low voice.
"Mr. Li, please don't say that. How about I treat you to a meal? There's no time like the present, let's do it today?"
Ye Ningwan snorted coldly and gave Ye Ruoxin a sarcastic reminder.
"Shouldn't Miss Ye also ask me for help? After all, if I don't speak up, you'll at least get a three- to five-year sentence!"
Ye Ruoxin's face stiffened for a moment after Ye Ningwan's sharp rebuke, but she quickly regained her usual gentle and weak demeanor.
She said with a smile.
"Sure, if you want to come, you can come too. Why are you being so polite with me? But the reason I didn't call you 'sister' earlier is because you just received 30 million and you look down on my meal!"
Ye Ningwan had heard these kinds of words—praise in name only, veiled criticism—many times. She didn't take them to heart at all, and simply chuckled lightly.
"Oh right, the Ye family spent 30 million on you, and you're already squandering it as soon as you get out. It seems you don't care about that 30 million at all. Well, after all, the Ye family is so big and powerful, why would they care?"
Ye Ruoxin's face was extremely pale.
She bit her lip, turned to Li Mochuan with a pitiful expression, and choked out.
"Mr. Li, that's not what I meant. I just felt I had troubled you too much today. Please don't misunderstand!"
Ye Ningwan smiled, opened the mirror, reached out to Ye Ruoxin, and said with a half-smile.
"Ye Ruoxin, have you ever looked at yourself like this? If you had any self-awareness, you should have washed yourself clean before coming here. You're so eager to seduce men. It seems you're really thirsty now that Pei Minghan doesn't want you anymore?"
Ye Ruoxin's face turned a deep shade of liver.
"Ye Ningwan, you..."
Ye Ningwan had already turned to Li Mochuan and said.
"Mr. Li, you must be careful! Don't accidentally get involved with someone else's fiancée! Although Pei Minghan wants to break off his engagement with Ye Ruoxin, it hasn't been broken off yet!"
Ye Ruoxin's face grew increasingly grim as she glared at Ye Ningwan through gritted teeth, looking as if she wanted nothing more than to pounce on the lathe and devour Ye Ningwan alive!
"Ye Ningwan, what do you mean by that? You're slandering me. Mr. Li and I are completely innocent, you..."
Before Ye Ruoxin could finish speaking, Ye Ningwan had already lost the will to continue arguing with her and stepped on the gas.
The car shot off like an arrow, and Ye Ruoxin, who was originally lying on the car window, was dragged away for dozens of meters.

Mei Aiqing immediately caught Ye Ruoxin's body as she was about to fall, and screamed in terror.
"Xinxin, Xinxin, wake up! Don't scare your mother!"
