The assistant said coldly.

The waiter was somewhat surprised to hear this. He tilted his head and glanced at Ye Ningwan, but quickly looked away and straightened up.
"You would like a pasta dish, a seasonal dessert platter, and a seasonal drink. Please wait a moment while I place your order. It will take about 20 to 30 minutes."
Ye Ningwan nodded, released her hand from the menu, and almost imperceptibly slipped a document into the gap of the menu before closing it and handing it to the other person.
"Thank you, here's the menu back."
The waiter bowed his head and took the menu from Ye Ningwan.
