Ye Ningwan smiled generously at him, then turned her gaze to Luo Rui and pointed at Han Qingting, who was hiding behind Madam Pei.
"Captain Luo, I called the police because this man sexually harassed me!"
Luo Rui frowned.
Han Qingting, however, was already jumping up and down, shouting menacingly at Luo Rui.
"What sexual harassment? This woman is just trying to extort money from me! Officer, you have to believe me!"
As Han Qingting spoke, he suddenly lunged forward and grabbed Luo Rui's hand, his eyes filled with urgency.
"I'm truly innocent! Listen to me, this woman is no ordinary woman! Women these days are all scheming. She only wanted to seduce me because I'm rich and powerful, and then she tried to set me up. But I didn't fall for it, so she hit me!"
As he spoke, Han Qingting pointed to his own nose and complained to Luo Rui with an extremely aggrieved expression.
"Look, this is what this woman did! I'm the victim! You can't believe her just because she's a woman! These days, young girls are getting worse and worse! We grown men are afraid to even walk on the street! It's terrifying!"
"What do you call this? This is feminism! These women are disgusting!"
Han Qingting's face was wrinkled; although he was only in his forties, he looked old and greasy, as if he were in his fifties.
Ye Ningwan stood aside with her arms crossed, coldly watching his performance.
When Han Qingting stopped talking and started muttering to himself about how terrible, selfish, difficult to mess with, and scheming women in this society are, Ye Ningwan finally spoke up and asked.
"So, Captain Luo, do you believe what this Doctor Han has to say?"
