Little Star immediately understood, rushed over and hugged Ye Jingyu's waist, acting all clingy and affectionate.
"Brother, I want to go to kindergarten, will you come with me? Please! Please! Please!"
The little guy had always called Ye Jingyu "Yuyu" before, and only on occasions like this would he sweetly call him "brother".
Ye Jingyu was being held in Xiao Xingxing's two chubby little hands, swaying back and forth, his voice filling the entire room.
Ye Jingyu looked at Ye Ningwan, who was sitting cross-legged on the ground, with pleading eyes.
Ye Ningwan simply shrugged, spread her hands, and looked like she couldn't do anything about it.
Ye Jingyu had no choice but to lower his head again, looking at his younger brother with a helpless expression. His cold and indifferent eyes had softened.
After a long while, Ye Jingyu finally pressed down on Xiaoxing's shoulder, sighed, and said to him.
"Stop shaking me, you're going to shake my head off!"
The little star, like a twisted taffy, made a few soft whimpering sounds.
"Then please say yes! Okay? Okay? Okay?"
Ye Jingyu finally nodded gently under the pitiful, puppy-like gaze of the little star.
"good."
"Yay! Yuyu, I love you so much!"
Little Star was overjoyed. Suddenly, she picked up Ye Jingyu from the chair, spun him around three and a half times in mid-air, and then, dizzy, fell down onto the soft carpet with Ye Jingyu.
Ye Ningwan was afraid that the two little ones would fall, so she quickly reached out and supported their little heads.
As a result, the two little ones lay on the ground, one on top of the other, and I rolled over and lay on top of them to tickle them. They laughed and giggled for a long time, having a great time.
Seeing that Ye Jingyu, who had always been aloof, finally showed some of the mannerisms expected of a child his age, Ye Ningwan breathed a sigh of relief.
This child is never like a little kid; his overly mature personality worries Ye Ningwan greatly.
Fortunately, Little Star was always there for him.
It was dinnertime, so Ye Ningwan took the two little ones out for a big meal.
Seeing how delicate and adorable the two little ones were, the restaurant gave each of them a complimentary ice cream.
On the way back, there were those balloons with flashing lights for sale by the roadside, and Ye Ningwan bought one for each of them.
The little star hesitated between the little rabbit and the spinning windmill balloon, and finally chose the windmill balloon after a long time of deliberation.
When it was Ye Jingyu's turn, he took the little rabbit balloon that Little Star had hesitated about for a long time without thinking.
Seeing the little star looking at him with sparkling eyes, Ye Jingyu smiled slightly.
Ye Ningwan took one of them by the hand and led them back to the hotel.
When she went upstairs, the nanny she had hired was already waiting at the hotel entrance.
Upon seeing Ye Ningwan, he immediately went up to greet her warmly.
"Hello, Ms. Ye! I am Aunt Wang, the nanny you hired."
Ye Ningwan looked at Aunt Wang, who had a bright smile on her face.
Ye Ningwan's gaze seemed to penetrate a person's hypocritical facade, looking right into their soul. That gaze made Aunt Wang feel very uncomfortable, and the smile on her face almost crumbled.
"Miss Ye, why...why are you looking at me like that?"
Ye Ningwan shook her head, looked away, and smiled at Aunt Wang.
"I didn't expect you to be so young."
The nanny in front of me looked to be in her early thirties. She had long, dark chestnut-colored waves, and judging from the color of her hair treatment, it was probably done recently. She was wearing a slightly tight-fitting, bright pink dress, a very tacky color.
She didn't quite look like a typical nanny; instead, she looked very young and even wore light makeup, which was quite different from what I had seen in the profiles.
Aunt Wang seemed to have also sensed the wariness in Ye Ningwan's tone.
"I'm not usually like this, but I wanted to make a good impression on you, so I dressed up specially. If you don't like it, I won't do it again next time."
As she spoke, she immediately tied up her loose hair with a hair tie on her wrist, revealing her large, mooncake-like face, with a stark contrast between her neck and face.
Ye Ningwan wasn't a boss who caused a lot of trouble. She gently shook her head and said to Aunt Wang.
"I won't interfere with your outfit, but my eldest son is in poor health and is allergic to some ingredients in cosmetics. I gave you the information, and it turns out you didn't read it carefully!"
As she said this, she narrowed her eyes dangerously, scrutinizing the Aunt Wang in front of her.
Under Ye Ningwan's intense gaze, Aunt Wang subconsciously took a step back, her face filled with fear.
But the salary for this job was too high, three to five times higher than the industry average. She had gone to great lengths to get the job through connections, spending a lot of money on gifts and agency fees alone. Naturally, she was unwilling to give up the job so easily over such a small matter.
Aunt Wang quickly tried to salvage the situation.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Ye, my phone was broken by my relative's naughty child a couple of days ago, and the information you sent me is on that phone. I'll fix my makeup right away, could you please send me the instructions again? I'll look at them right away."
Ye Ningwan sneered.
"Then why didn't you tell me about this a few days ago? You only brought it up after I asked! Did you think that if I didn't bring it up, you would pretend that this never happened?"
Aunt Wang opened her mouth, wanting to refute.
"No...please let me explain..."
Ye Ningwan had already picked up her phone.
"I'll tell your company that you can leave now!"
