"You're angry."
Shang Yechu ignored him, turned over and continued reading the script.
103 persisted, saying, "You're angry, and you're still angry."
Shang Yechu flipped through the script so fast it made a rustling sound.
"My voice is in your head, not in your ears. Are you out of your mind with anger?"
"Wouldn't it save you some trouble to shut up?" Shang Yechu suddenly sat up. "Yes, I'm in a bad mood—but I still have to work on the script, and we'll continue filming tomorrow. So, can you please shut up?"
103 said, "I'm just wondering, this isn't the first time you've encountered someone with connections. You weren't this angry even when Yang Huanyi gave you hush money, so what's wrong this time?"
"Yang Huanyi didn't cause me to have to make mistakes because of her." Shang Yechu threw the script aside and lay back on the hotel bed.
“Although this explanation is reasonable,” the system, which lacks any sense of perception, pondered for half a second, “it still doesn’t feel like the real reason…”
Shang Yechu frowned and asked, "Then what do you think is the real reason?"
"Actually, your behavior at the time seemed like someone had hit a sore spot. What, could it be that you could sense what Li Yi was saying?"
"..."
Shang Yechu slammed the script shut and buried her face in the pillow: "Unsubscribe."
-----------------
Today's scene is particularly important, as it's the one where Xiao Fengque and Xie An completely break up and fight.
Li Yi's action scenes were the best in the entire crew, so Yi Tianzhao wasn't worried. But before the fight, the two had a tense dialogue scene. A lot of dynamics needed to be captured. Yi Tianzhao could no longer afford to be lazy and rely on his long shots.
The atmosphere on set seemed a bit strange today. When Yi Tianzhao arrived, he saw Shang Yechu and Li Yi rehearsing their lines. This was normally a very ordinary scene. But as Yi Tianzhao got closer to the two of them, he sensed something was amiss.
Shang Yechu still wore a smile, while Li Yi lowered his eyes, his lines flowing smoothly from his lips. Shang Yechu listened quietly.
A handsome man and a beautiful woman standing together rehearsing their lines should have been a harmonious scene. Yet, Yi Tianzhao felt an inexplicable sense of awkwardness and suffocation.
What was that saying in the storybooks? ... "In war between two armies, envoys are not to be killed." Yi Tianzhao felt like he was that "envoy."
Yi Tianzhao nodded to Shang Yechu first, then looked at Li Yi with concern: "Xiao Li, how are you feeling today?"
Li Yi smiled brightly, revealing her teeth: "I feel better than yesterday."
From negative to zero? Yi Tianzhao muttered to himself, then looked at Shang Yechu: "Yezi, what about you?"
The question wasn't whether Shang Yechu was good or not, but whether Shang Yechu was confident she could handle this burden during the dramatic scenes.
Shang Yechu smiled and said, "I slept very well last night, so I should be fine today."
Since both sides said there were no problems, there was no need to argue any further. After some makeup and styling, filming officially began.
"Count to three and enter the shot—action!"
Xie An walked into the frame expressionlessly, his steps as light as the wind.
Yi Tianzhao paused for a moment. The script required Xie An to have a "calm and composed expression," but although Li Yi was expressionless at the moment, he did seem quite angry...
illusion.
I didn't get enough sleep last night.
Xiao Fengque also appeared in the scene. Unlike Li Yi, she still wore a warm, spring-like smile. Two short, dragon-whisker-like bangs bounced outside her fringe, making her look radiant and spirited.
