Liu Zihang is a die-hard supporter of Wei Xuan; don't count on him. Zheng Bohan… Zheng Bohan…
What's wrong with Zheng Bohan? His face is as black as the bottom of a pot, as if Shang Yechu owes him eight million!
"bite--"
The elevator stopped, but Shang Yechu didn't notice; her heart was still pounding.
While waiting outside the office, Shang Yechu felt both angry and aggrieved. But after the performance, she felt much better. The anger subsided, leaving only a desire for victory.
The elevator doors slowly opened, and a person walked in. Shang Yechu didn't notice, still lost in thought.
Did I defeat Wei Xuan?
What did Zheng Bohan mean by that expression that said the whole world owed him money?
How many votes can I get?
Why is Liu Zihang so devoted to Wei Xuan?
As various thoughts flashed by, Shang Yechu suddenly heard a voice in her ear:
"Ye Chu?"
Shang Yechu snapped out of her daze, looked at the person who had just entered the elevator, and raised an eyebrow in surprise.
The man before me was incredibly robust, like a small mountain, his clothes bulging out of his chest. He was strikingly handsome, with sharply defined features. In other words, he exuded masculinity.
Judging from his appearance, he was probably around thirty years old. Shang Yechu knew that if he wore makeup, he would look even younger.
"Hello, Professor Shi Shan." Shang Yechu extended her hand. "It's an honor to meet you."
Shi Shan smiled and reached out to shake Shang Yechu's fingertips: "You actually know me?"
Shang Yechu smiled and said, "I have read both your 'Mount Nine' and 'The Eagle'."
“Stop calling me ‘you’ so formally,” Shi Shan laughed, “it’s making me feel old.”
Before Shang Yechu could answer, "ding—", the elevator arrived at the first floor. Shang Yechu and Shi Shan stepped out of the elevator together and stood in the lobby on the first floor.
"Teacher Shishan, what are you doing here?" Shang Yechu asked knowingly.
Shi Shan looked Shang Yechu up and down, and said meaningfully, "Actually, I was in the audition room just now too."
"Huh?" This answer completely surprised Shang Yechu. "I didn't see you just now. Did you leave when I came in?"
Shi Shan pointed remotely at the glass elevator that was going up again: "One-way glass, ever heard of it?"
Shang Yechu was taken aback. One-way glass is a type of transparent glass used for surveillance. From the front, it looks no different from a mirror. From the back, however, everything on the other side of the glass can be clearly seen.
The person being monitored cannot see the monitor and thinks they are simply looking in a mirror. The monitor, however, can see the monitored person's every move. This is one-way glass.
There was indeed a mirror hanging on half of the wall in the audition room, which Shang Yechu hadn't noticed at first. Only now did she realize that it was actually a one-way mirror.
Realizing she was being observed, scrutinized, and judged like a lab rat through a one-way mirror, completely unaware of it, Shang Yechu felt extremely uncomfortable. She forced a smile, though: "I see. Is Teacher Shishan trying to get to know the actors you'll be working with beforehand?"
