"Director Xu was very dissatisfied with screenwriter Zheng's design, thinking it was too flashy. Although it was beautiful and tragic, it didn't make any sense at all." Shi Shan lowered his eyes. "And screenwriter Zheng seemed to hate it when Director Xu gave him any feedback on his script. This was one of the biggest differences between screenwriter Zheng and Director Xu."
Xu Hanwen and a group of people messed up Zheng Bohan's script last time, ruining what should have been a good story, "The Legend of Qingyun." No wonder Zheng Bohan wasn't happy about it.
“Actually, before your interview, Wei Xuan was also asked to act out the scene of Li Yiming's sacrifice,” Shi Shan said. “Do you know how she acted it?”
Shang Yechu looked very interested: "Teacher Wei Xuan's acting skills are very good. He must have handled it quite skillfully, right?"

Shi Shan's description was incredibly vivid, and Shang Yechu immediately conjured up the scene in her mind. Wei Xuan's design seemed somewhat familiar.
Shang Ye frowned and pondered for a moment, then suddenly realized: "The death of Marat?"
"An accurate assessment." Shi Shan cast an approving glance his way. "The images are almost identical."
Shang Yechu wasn't the only one who put in the hard work. Wei Xuan's design was ingenious, visually striking, and memorable. Shang Yechu only needed a moment to think about it before alarm bells went off in her head.
"Editor Zheng was very satisfied with Wei Xuan's design, but Director Xu was not so. He asked several questions at the time."
Shi Shan looked on with a look of recollection: "Director Xu asked, 'Under what circumstances was Li Yiming exposed?'"
Wei Xuan replied, "Betrayed by a traitor, there's no going back."
Director Xu then asked, "What's the reason for playing music?"
Wei Xuan said, "Li Yiming has pretended for half his life, and he wants to be himself one last time before he dies, to hear the song that haunts his dreams, and to die in happiness."
Director Xu then asked, "Where is Li Yiming being held? Why is he still allowed to listen to records?"
Wei Xuan said, "She made the request to the secret agents herself, wanting to hear a piece of music before she died."
Director Xu laughed upon hearing this: "So, this is before the execution?"
"Wei Xuan confessed. Director Xu said, 'Do the spies intend to secretly execute Li Yiming, or to publicly execute him as a warning to others?'"
Wei Xuan said, "Of course, we should punish them openly and severely, to make an example of them."
Director Xu questioned, "If you wanted to use Li Yiming to intimidate others, why did you allow her to come into contact with the razor blade? You should have strictly searched and monitored her to prevent her from committing suicide before her execution!"
"At this point, Editor Zheng spoke up: 'Is it wrong to cut your wrists with a shard of a porcelain bowl?'"
Shi Shan's tone was flat, merely a basic retelling. Shang Yechu still detected a hint of bloodshed in his voice.
