Chapter 240 Victory or Defeat (1/2)

Shi Shan quickly recalled the script and revealed a knowing expression: "I understand, it's the part where the forensic doctor determined that the murderer was a tall man based on the ballistic traces?"

“Yes.” Shang Yechu nodded. “If we don’t use this posture, the bullet trajectory will become—”

Shang Yechu didn't know how to describe the mark, so she stretched out her hand and made a gesture that went through from bottom to top, and then made a parallel gesture, "like this or like this."

The gesture was very descriptive, and Shi Shan understood it immediately—this way, Li Yiming could no longer disguise the murderer as some tall, imposing man.

"I see." Shi Shan turned around and explained to Coach Kang again in Russian, "This is necessary for filming. Is this pose not feasible?"

Coach Kang angrily exclaimed, "Shit! This shooting posture can only hit an elephant!"

Fearing that Shang Yechu might not understand, Coach Kang thoughtfully said this in Chinese.

The old man's furious roar still echoed in her ears, and Shang Yechu was momentarily at a loss for what to do. The best solution, of course, would be to find a man as tall as the spy and test it out on the spot. But who would willingly take a bullet for no reason?

Shi Shan noticed Shang Yechu's hesitation, lowered his eyes slightly, then raised them again: "How about this, we'll do a live demonstration. I'll play the spy, and you play Li Yiming."

"This won't do!"

Shang Yechu and Coach Kang uttered these words at the same time.

"What?" Shi Shan asked with amusement.

"That's too dangerous," Shang Yechu disagreed.

Although Shi Shan looks very big, Shang Yechu knew that such impressive muscles were mostly for show and had little practical combat ability. Shang Yechu himself was quite strong, and it would be troublesome if he beat Shi Shan up.

"You idiot! Firing a blank shot will damage my aunt!" Coach Kang bluntly stated, "Don't even think about it!"

Shi Shan shook his head at Shang Yechu: "It's okay, just unload the bullets." He then turned to Coach Kang and smiled slightly: "Then your aunt doesn't need to practice. Just find any gun with a stopcock protection mechanism."

Coach Kang reluctantly agreed to Shi Shan's suggestion. He angrily went to the weapons section and rummaged through a modern firearm. Shang Yechu couldn't directly say, "I'm worried you can't beat me," so she could only silently accept Shi Shan's suggestion, secretly reminding herself not to be too ruthless.

Coach Kang, with a sullen face, placed a "Godfather" pistol into Shang Yechu's hand, then glared hatefully at Shi Shan and Shang Yechu: "Be nicer to my brother."

"Let's begin." Shi Shan looked at Shang Yechu.

Shang Yechu awkwardly checked the pistol, confirming that Coach Kang's older brother was indeed out of ammunition. He then pulled the trigger twice to make sure it would press and not fire anything, before finally feeling relieved.

"Okay." Shang Yechu let out a breath and involuntarily tugged at the corners of her mouth. "I'll go easy on you."

Shi Shan nodded slightly: "Then thank you very much."

Coach Kang wore a strange expression, silently stepped back a few feet, and stood in a vantage point where he could neither obstruct the view nor be affected, watching the experiment intently.

Shi Shan had his back to Shang Yechu, pretending to be searching for someone to monitor. Suddenly, something cold poked him on the back of the head.

Shi Shan froze, his hand instinctively reaching for his pocket.

"Don't move," Shang Yechu said coldly. "Hands up."

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Shi Shan's face showed disbelief, and he slowly raised his hands.

Following the script written by Zheng Bohan, Shang Yechu tried to raise his arm and lower the gun barrel to create a so-called "pocket angle." Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Shi Shan suddenly dodged, deftly avoiding Shang Yechu's gun barrel!

Shang Yechu was already moving quickly, but Shi Shan was moving even faster.

Shi Shan nimbly twisted his body and struck Shang Yechu's wrist with a palm strike. Shang Yechu felt the pain, loosened his grip, and the pistol instantly fell to the ground.

Shang Yechu reacted quickly to catch it, but Shi Shan kicked the pistol, sending it flying far away!

Seeing that the situation was not good, Shang Ye instinctively reacted and swept his leg out at Shi Shan's other leg!

Thump! It was as if he had kicked a pillar, but Shi Shan didn't budge an inch!

Shang Yechu's expression changed drastically, and Shi Shan's expression also changed slightly.

This guy is no ordinary muscleman! Shang Yechu immediately adjusted his strategy and turned to run quickly toward the location of the gun.

Shi Shan grabbed Shang Yechu's shoulder and forcefully pulled her back. The feeling of being controlled filled Shang Yechu with terror. She desperately tried to strike Shi Shan's arm and kick his waist and abdomen.

Shi Shan had no choice but to retreat repeatedly, but he still held onto Shang Yechu tightly, unwilling to let go. For some reason, Coach Kang only felt a blur before his eyes, and the two were suddenly locked in a struggle.

Shang Yechu was afraid of actually injuring Shi Shan and creating some kind of grudge; Shi Shan clearly had the same thought. The two fought with restraint, neither able to gain the upper hand. It wasn't satisfying to watch; instead, it felt rather weak and unpleasant.

When Shang Yechu's leg whip effortlessly bypassed Shi Shan's vital areas for the second time, and when Shi Shan's fist lightly grazed Shang Yechu's face for the third time, Coach Kang could no longer tolerate this theatrical, petty sparring.
