The scene was chaotic with chatter. Shang Yechu wasn't annoyed. No one was intentionally teasing her and Shi Shan; they were just under a lot of pressure and needed to release some stress.
The New Year is the most important festival for Chinese people. It's good to have some fun and get rid of the anger and bad luck of the past year.
"Alright, alright, our goal is universal harmony," Shang Yechu teased. "Universal harmony isn't possible for now, let's start with a small-scale one. Come on, come on—"
Shang Yechu stood up with her lunchbox in hand and smiled as she placed a dumpling on the plate for each person present.
The crowd had only been teasing them casually, but when they saw Shang Yechu actually stand up and distribute the dumplings, they became embarrassed: "Uh, Sister Ye...you..."
"Dumplings are a must for Chinese New Year, to share in the joy." Shang Yechu put an extra dumpling on Xiao Niu's plate. "The Party and the State are finished, let's have one more to celebrate."

There were only two dumplings left in Shang Yechu's bowl.
Shang Yechu returned to her seat, picked up one of the dumplings with her chopsticks, and held it up to her eyes.
The dumplings are crystal clear, with skins as thin as paper, and the delicious broth and fillings inside are partially hidden, as if they are about to make their appearance at any moment.
"Come on." Shang Yechu pushed the lunchbox between herself and Shi Shan. "The final victory belongs to you and me."
Shi Shan raised an eyebrow slightly, picked up the disposable chopsticks he had just unpacked, and used them to pick up another dumpling.
Crack! Splash!
The fireworks outside the window were as dazzling as a shower of stars, turning the night sky into a magnificent sea of light.
Amidst the myriad lights and smoke rising from countless homes, Shi Shan and Shang Yechu clinked glasses with their last two dumplings.
"Happy New Year."
"Happy New Year."
Shang Yechu often thought about that night. Even though the crew had held wrap parties, celebration parties, and even tenth and twentieth anniversary parties later, none of them left a deeper impression on Shang Yechu than the canteen illuminated by fireworks.

After filming wrapped, Shang Yechu's work didn't end. Re-recording (re-dubbing) and reshoots were both necessary tasks.
With the time spent with the crew members suddenly reduced significantly, Shang Yechu, who had become accustomed to seeing the same familiar faces day and night for the past few months, felt a little uneasy about parting ways.
In addition, there's some news that's neither good nor bad: the release date for "Half a Day" may be postponed.
Filming for "Half a Day" is progressing much slower than originally planned, making a May release impossible. Ruguan TV has expressed its dissatisfaction. Whether it will be pushed to the summer blockbuster season or a later date is beyond Shang Yechu's control.
Shang Yechu finally returned to the company she had been away from for so long.
