Qingping Entertainment has really become very developed.
The trailer is of high quality, leaving plenty of suspense, and the several large-scale scenes shown are also well-produced, magnificent, and truly stunning.
While it's unclear why an explosion, flood, and starry sky would appear on a street, it must be said that "Happy Street" does a good job of incorporating these common elements found in large-scale commercial films.
Regardless of the plot, at least the special effects are quite well done.
After watching the trailer, most of the Ye Ya were filled with mixed feelings of surprise and delight. They were surprised that Qingping Entertainment had actually spent so much money, which contradicted Ji Bapi's stingy image; they were delighted because, judging from the visuals, "Happiness Street" was not the small-budget production they had imagined, and Ye Chu was not just a supporting character.
Following the release of the trailer, the official Weibo account of Happiness Street released a series of stills. The first post consisted entirely of solo photos of Ye Chu, while the subsequent posts featured solo or group photos of the other characters.
The distinction in status is now clear.
The buds noticed that, apart from Ye Chu, most of the other characters in the film were also artists from Qingping Entertainment. Most of them were relatively unknown artists, with the most famous being only a third-tier star.
This film is a work that Ye Chu truly carried entirely on (at least in the early stages).
The film industry has been monopolized for so long that even audiences and fans have compromised and accepted the same few faces constantly changing in romantic comedies. Unexpectedly, Ye Chu has emerged out of nowhere, single-handedly taking on such a large-scale production!
The jubilation within the Ye Ya (a fan community) goes without saying. Since pre-sales for the movie "Happy Street" haven't even started yet, Ye Ya members are bursting with cash. To celebrate, they've even started a raffle for snacks and cosmetics.
Furthermore, since the other artists were too minor in status, even if they were grouped together, they couldn't compete with Ye Chu for top billing. Therefore, Ye Chu's fans showed immense warmth and encouragement to these relatively unknown actors who had worked with her. They not only actively retweeted and commented on the supporting actors' posts on the official Weibo account of Happiness Street, praising them as "the older sister is so beautiful," "the uncle is so handsome," and "very charismatic," but they even followed these supporting actors, hoping they would post photos of themselves working with Ye Chu.
These supporting actors weren't fools to have managed to get into Qingping Entertainment. Besides, they owed much of their roles in "Happy Street" to Ye Chu's help. So, in return, they all dug up old photos from their collaboration and praised Ye Chu to the skies.
There's no other way; everyone has to make a living under the top actress! Besides, Ye Chu is indeed a good actress, dedicated, and down-to-earth.
Like a sedan chair carried by many, the warm and harmonious marketing campaign for "Happiness Street" was already in place even before its broadcast.
Ironically, although Shang Yechu didn't like "Happy Street," and could even be said to have some aversion to it, the atmosphere of this film was the best among all her works to date.
