Chapter 80 Performance (2/2)

Zeng the Bald was engrossed in watching when something suddenly slammed into his face, causing him to instinctively lean back.

To his surprise, the object didn't hit his face, but landed quite deliberately on the table in front of him.

Zeng the Bald man was startled and instinctively tried to see what it was. The next second, a shadow flashed past his eyes!

When Zeng Tuzi looked up, he saw Shang Yechu lightly place one foot on the chair and, as light as a swallow, suddenly dart to sit on the tea table!

Shang Yechu sat at the tea table, and with a swift and graceful movement, he leaned over and flicked his sleeve, placing the wooden steel-tipped tea tongs around Shang Yechu's neck, across the tea stove, teapot, and teacups!

"Chen Xiangbo, where do you want to go?" Shang Yechu smiled and with a swift movement, she pressed Zeng Tuzi down into his seat, making him unable to move.

The tea table wasn't large, so there wasn't much room to maneuver. Even so, Shang Yechu's movements were still very graceful and highly entertaining.

With one hand pressing down on Zeng the Bald, Shang Yechu still had the leisure to pick up the teapot with the other and fill Zeng the Bald's cup with tea.

The tea sipped and dripped into the teacup, the hot aroma of the tea wafting between the two of them.

With a thud, Shang Yechu slammed the teapot down on the table: "Housekeeper, would you like some farewell tea before you leave?"

Zeng the Bald was taken aback by the chilling killing intent emanating from Shang Yechu, and stammered out the lines he had just read in the script: "You... what did you say? I'm the butler! Not some Prime Minister Chen..."

Li Yi rubbed his neck, his anger vanishing, and said with a smirk, "Alright, stop scaring him. Give me back my belt hook."

Shang Yechu slightly curled her lips, not even glancing at Li Yi. She picked up the piece of something that had just landed in front of Zeng Tuzi with two fingers, and with a flick of her wrist, the "hook" flew accurately towards Li Yi.

Li Yi caught the "belt hook" precisely and pressed it back onto his waist.

Zeng Tuzi felt the tea clips pressed against his neck were icy cold. The tea in front of him was steaming hot, and through the wisps of steam, Shang Yechu's eyes were even colder than the tea clips.

Sweat beaded on Zeng Tuzi's bald head.

The next second, Shang Yechu suddenly put away the tea tongs in her hand, obediently got off the table, and stood upright on the ground.

"Teacher Zeng, I'm so sorry," Shang Yechu said apologetically, seemingly a little uneasy. "Did I hurt you?"

Tu Zi Zeng: "..."

Zeng the Bald exhaled and subconsciously looked around.

Jiang Shang Nongchaosheng was sizing up Shang Yechu, but didn't give him a second glance;

Yi Tianzhao's expression relaxed considerably, and a slight smirk even appeared on his face;

Li Yi stood still, resuming his original posture of focusing on his nose and mind.

The little child was looking at him with concern, but also with some trepidation.

He was not a murderer, nor was there a knife to his neck.

"Ah, ah." Zeng the Bald forced an awkward smile. "It does hurt a little. But Xiao Ye, is it Xiao Ye? You acted well. Really well."

Nevertheless, he was still shaken. The chilling sensation he felt when Shang Yechu touched his neck with the tea tongs hadn't faded yet.

"Little Li acted pretty well too—hahaha." Zeng the Bald stood up, walked over to Li Yi, patted him on the shoulder, and casually moved away from Shang Yechu. "I think he's improved a lot!"
