Chapter 212: Supplementary settings, the myth of the K system, and the data party progress

The pressure of exam updates is high, so please be patient and read it. It not only introduces the Cthulhu mythology, but the following content will also involve some combat power divisions of this book.

1. Division of Power

The gods in the Cthulhu mythology can be roughly divided into the following categories: 1. Outer Gods.

Outer Gods rule the universe. All races and weaker deities must acknowledge the existence of Outer Gods, and many of them still worship them.

The Outer Gods are portrayed as real gods, some of whom are personifications of certain cosmic rules. Of course, only a small number of Outer Gods interfere in human affairs, and when they do, they are mostly looking for ways to break through cosmic walls or dimensions to cause new destruction.

There are many less powerful and lesser-known Outer Gods collectively known as the Lower Gods, who dance blindly around Azathoth and form the Chaos Court of the Demon Lord.

Well-known Outer Gods: Those related to this book will have a more detailed introduction, while the others only have a name for now

·Azathoth: Very well-known, the blind and foolish god, the core of the original chaos; the chief of the demons, the lord of all things, good at sleeping and paddling for a long time. Once he wakes up, the world will be destroyed.

Wubo Sasla: Its appearance is similar to that of a protoplasm. Judging from the description, it looks quite similar to a slime. It is the prototype of all living things on Earth and is the origin and return of all life on Earth.

The Three Pillars: The existence of the saints in the war of gods, the children of Azathoth, to put it more clearly, is the counterpart of the Three Pure Ones.

Creeping Chaos - Nyarlathotep: Dark-skinned, thin, and looks like an ancient Egyptian pharaoh. It is hinted that he was the one who instigated humans to create mushroom eggs.

The Black Goat of the Forest that gave birth to millions of offspring - Shub-Niggurath: The Happy God of the Bone King, whose attribute represents 'Earth', has strong fertility. Its image is a huge black cloud-like piece of meat with many tentacles and a big mouth dripping with mucus.

·The One to whom all things return to one—Yog-Sothoth: nicknamed the Bubble God, he controls time and space and possesses infinite wisdom. To be honest, he might be quite good to humans, provided that he meets the right incarnation.

·Star of Judgment - Ghroth: People in the world call him the Big Alarm Clock. His image can be simply seen as a planet with one eye. He is the forerunner of destruction, not only of humans, but also of other gods. He has no interest in them, so there is no need to provoke them. He will just fight them when he meets them.

·The hermaphrodite descendant of Azathoth - Xexixukrus ·The Veil Breaker - Dauros ·The Overlord of Tindalos - Musisha

That’s about it for the Outer Gods. After all, Baidu is much more detailed than me, and except for a limited number of them, most of them are cannon fodder.

2. Old Gods The Old Gods are a class of gods that remain neutral or hostile to the Outer Gods. Despite their great and terrifying power, the Old Gods do not seem to be as dangerous to humans as the Outer Gods.

However, like the Outer Gods, the Old Gods have little contact with humans. Only a few of the Old Gods are known by name, and there is a group of weaker and nameless Old Gods called "Lesser Old Gods". As time goes by and worship increases, these nameless Lesser Old Gods may one day receive names and gain followers.

Compared with the outer gods, the old gods are unlikely to appear in the main world. Their existence is only used to consume the low-level personnel in the heavenly court.

Representatives:

Lord of the Great Abyss - Nodens Cat Goddess - Bastet Goddess of Life - Isis God of Sleep - Hypnos

Most of the old gods are unknown, and Nodens is one of the more active ones. According to Brian Lumley's setting, Kthanid led the old gods to fight against the old masters, mainly Cthulhu.

3. The Great Old Ones

The Old Ones are not omnipotent, but they do possess god-like abilities and are terrifying in the eyes of humans.

Humans will worship those Great Old Ones who are relatively close to them. The Great Old Ones will occasionally participate in human social activities or contact individuals.

The Great Old Ones usually appear as extremely powerful alien creatures with supernatural powers, but they do not possess the same god-like power as the Outer Gods.

Each Great Old One is independent, and many of them are imprisoned in some way.

Representatives:

·The Lord of R'lyeh - the great Cthulhu, attribute representative · Water (a later additional setting), Squidward's popularity is absolutely unquestionable, but his combat power is very limited. If the three pillars of gods are compared with saints, then Cthulhu can only fight against Arhats at most. After his immortality is analyzed, he will most likely become a laborer. ·The Unnameable God - Hastur, SpongeBob SquarePants, no, the Lord of Yellow Clothes, attribute representative · Wind, he is in a turbulent relationship with Cthulhu. It is precisely because of this reason that Zhuge An was able to complete his mission of provoking.

Abhoth, the source of impurity

Cthugha the Living Flame

·The Sleeping Terror of the Frozen Arctic——Novox

·Infectious Diseases——Hastaluk …………

It’s so outrageous that I need to use two ellipsis to express my shock. UC, remember to send me money!

4. Dream Gods Dream Gods refer to the gods who live in the dreamland on Earth. Do not confuse them with the Old Ones.

The Great Ones are a type of gods in the Cthulhu mythology, also known as the "Gods of Earth".

They are the rulers of the Earth's Dreamland. Although they have the title of "God", they are not as powerful as the Old Ones. They look very similar to humans, but have "long and narrow eyes and long leaf-shaped ears, as well as thin noses and pointed chins."

Some young dream gods will give birth to some demigods with divine blood with humans. These demigods have the same power as ordinary people, but their appearance is similar to that of dream gods, and they are born with some memories about dream gods. To some extent, dream gods are protected by other gods from outer space.

Representative: Too bad, not worthy of a name

·The Queen of the Night——Lilith ……

Now that we have a certain understanding of the forces, let's briefly talk about the dependents.

Shantak - A lower-level servant race, an elephant-like mount, and a dependent race of Nyarlathotep.

Nyarlathotep's servants - a superior servant race, parasites from the stars, and a dependent race of Nyarlathotep.

· Black Young - A superior servant race, offspring of Shub-Niggurath, and a dependent race of Shub-Niggurath.

Cthulhu's followers - the superior servant race, the Xoth, the supervisors of the sleepers, and the followers of Cthulhu.

·Cats - A lower-level servant race, a subordinate race of Bast. (Yes, the cats on Earth) ·Nightmare - A lower-level servant race, a faceless and voiceless bird, a subordinate race of Nodens.

Specific creatures such as the Ancient Giants and the Deep Divers will be introduced in detail later.
