Chapter 101 Physical Salvation for Devout Believers

Gu Li ignored the receptionist's inexplicably pale face and wasn't curious about what kind of ruthless image she had in his mind.

She got all the guy's stock and only used 1,000 points, making a killing.

The people on the stairs were only briefly stunned for a moment, when one of them, a boy with dark brown, shoulder-length hair, snorted coldly.

He said with dissatisfaction and contempt, "I thought he was some important person, but I didn't expect him to be just a little beggar."

The boy with short black hair and a slightly dark complexion pressed down on his shoulder: "Said, watch your words and actions. This is a student invited by the dean to enroll."

It would be better if we didn't talk about this, but just mentioning this boy named Said makes his brown hair stand on end in anger.

He was even more indignant: "Look at his build, I feel like I could crush him with one hand. What makes him worthy of the dean's recommendation!"

"And he made us wait here for a full two weeks!"

The slightly dark-skinned boy was tall and strong. He frowned. Almost everyone had some complaints about this freshman who had stood them up for half a month.

But this is clearly not the place for infighting, and that person, recommended by the dean and the head of the second district, might actually have some real skills.

That was what Alfoseny originally thought.

When he saw the newborn's pale, bloodless face and light golden hair, his hand on the longsword at his waist tightened.

This is the first time I've questioned the dean's decision.

Can this weak gene with such obvious characteristics really survive in the single-soldier system?

He suspected that this person would be eliminated during the entrance exam.

Among this group of students, only he and Said were first-year students who had not yet enrolled, and they already knew that they could enter the individual soldier department.

After graduation, you will directly join the guards of the safe zone.

This was just a trial by their family, which is normal among noble families like theirs. The more illustrious a family is, the more ruthless its methods are in maintaining the continuation of its bloodline.

The two, who were born and trained as elite soldiers, had nothing they could stand about them but those who had no real ability and rose to power by relying on their families.

The person in front of them had completely stepped on their landmines.

Alfoseni fell silent and stopped trying to dissuade Saide. He watched Saide stride up to the man, and then he followed, sword in hand.

Gu Licai struggled to stuff all the food rations into his suitcase, and for this reason, he had to take out that huge, exquisite cross.

Suddenly a shadow fell over her, followed by an arrogant voice: "You're the freshman recommended by the dean?"

Gu Li was a beat slow to realize that he was talking to her. She slowly raised her head, looked at the man, and nodded hesitantly.

Seeing her utterly ungrateful expression, Saide's face darkened even further.

He drew his longsword from his waist in a flash and aimed it directly at Gu Li, who was squatting on the ground.

“Get up, pick up your weapon, and let’s have a match,” Said said, his lips pursed, his face showing the stubbornness typical of a young man. “You’d better pray you don’t disgrace the Dean’s reputation.”

Things suddenly fast-forwarded to the point where Gu Li suspected she had missed an episode, her expression quite bewildered. She subconsciously touched the large cross lying at her feet.

She wondered whether it would be better to accept her new classmate's invitation.

Seeing that Gu Li was actually touching her strange weapon, Wang Li, who had been standing to the side with a stern face, suddenly stood between them, separating the two.

"Wait, I think we can pause this farce for now. If you don't want to miss the spaceship back to school, we should set off now."

Wang Li's cold and hard face made Said reluctantly sheathe his sword and take a step back, his gaze still fixed on what was behind him.

Wang Li then looked behind him: "Chen Guo asked me to remind you that it's best not to cause trouble before the school tests."

Gu Li slung her cross over her shoulder and picked up her luggage: "I didn't cause any trouble."

It was just a friendly competition between classmates.

Wang Li, the only one present who witnessed Gu Li's actions, glared at him fiercely and said, "Don't ruin that kid before school starts!"

Gu Li nodded sullenly.

It makes her seem like someone with a perverse sense of humor, when she was just curious.

Alfoseni stepped forward and took away his good brother. The individual soldier didn't get the better of him, and the Son of Light had no choice but to keep his anger to himself.

They ignored the extra person on the spaceship the whole way.

Gu Li didn't understand their intentions. She kept looking out the window at the scenery. The spaceship they were on was different from the public transportation she had imagined.

The large, silver-white spaceship, adorned with a giant sword and rose emblem, took off immediately after picking up the group.

The scenery outside the window rushes past, then suddenly blurs for a few seconds before clearing up again, revealing a change in the view.

She sensed something; the spaceship was somehow moving rapidly between points.

He Wei sat down next to her, her voice tinged with pride: "This is our Federation's most significant achievement in mystical research over the past decade: spatial leap."

Gu Li's eyes flickered: "Mysterious research?"

She pointed to Gu Li's suitcase, where she had seen Gu Li stuff a package several times larger than the alleyway into it.

"You'll understand when you get to school; you can think of it as a kind of prop making."

"It has simply transformed from a body that borrows the power contained within a different species into something even more unpredictable."

Gu Li gazed at the blurry scenery outside and gently twitched her nose. No wonder she had been able to smell a faint scent of pollution since earlier.
