Under the watchful eyes of countless people, Gu Li gently fell to the ground, the wind blowing her light golden hair into disarray, making it dance wildly behind her.
All eyes were immediately drawn to the slender figure descending from mid-air. As she landed, the remaining eight robots all turned their attention to her.
Celine's eyes sharpened as she walked out of the players' tunnel, and she suddenly quickened her pace, leaving a deep imprint on the ground with her footprints.
Celine's figure blurred into a fleeting afterimage before everyone's eyes. He Xing's gaze finally turned serious as he followed Celine's retreating figure into the distance.
Is this the strength of the First Legion?
Her figure was almost invisible to the naked eye; only a fleeting afterimage could be seen passing through the line of sight.
He Xing's jawline tightened unconsciously as he mentally calculated how much he could achieve with his current abilities.
He wasn't interested in the people falling from above.
Until a huge uproar erupted all around.
As soon as he shifted his gaze upwards, his calm expression shattered, and his dark pupils trembled slightly.
His dark pupils reflected the figure dancing in mid-air, the sniper robots that surrounded him being easily shot down like toys.
As the sniper robots approached, Gu Li suddenly turned around in mid-air in an impossible pose, stepping onto the muzzle of one of their cannons.
He then leaped into the air and gracefully swung his sword at the other robots, a dazzling flash of light.
The sniper robot, with a faint white light emanating from its cannon muzzle, crashed to the ground.
The explosion shattered the silence of the arena, and Gu Li returned to the original robot, stomping heavily on it.
The robot was pulled down a considerable distance by a tremendous force, at which point the distance closed and everyone in the live stream could clearly see her face.
The exceptionally beautiful light color outlined a beautiful and harmless face, which, combined with the violent act of the longsword piercing the robot's body and crashing to the ground, made it look like a beautiful face.
This gives her an extremely ruthless and contrasting appearance.
The barrage of comments that had been flooding the live stream suddenly fell silent, and a comment expressing existential doubt scrolled across the empty screen.
[I apologize for my rashness just now. This isn't about weak genes; she's my goddess!]
[That's outrageous! Did she really not have any safety devices on her? Is it even possible for a person to jump from that height?]
[Which mischievous person dyed their hair?]
[Am I the only one wondering if this is a freshman in the individual combat department this year? Then He Xing's chances of getting first place are in jeopardy.]
[What do you mean by "uncertain"? This is a no-brainer; this physical strength is simply superhuman.]
[You're the one who passed! He Xing is the strongest individual soldier of this generation, he's even been to the battlefield, how could he possibly lose to some weakling who appeared out of nowhere? This is just attention-seeking!]
[I suggest the brainless fan upstairs wear glasses before going online.]
[Hilarious! I admit that the weak-gene landing pose is cool, but that doesn't mean anything. A soldier's ability to deal with alien species is the only true measure of success. I hope this little girl doesn't end up crying as soon as she gets into battle.]
A great deal of discussion also broke out at the Federal University. After the spaceship successfully landed, the people who got off were all familiar faces.
Even Saide and Alfoseni were students who had already been paying attention to investment before enrolling.
The only unfamiliar face was the light-haired girl who seemed to be taking the lead.
He Xing overheard people whispering beside him: "That must be the freshman recommended by the dean, right? He actually has a weak gene."
"I heard that exoskeleton weapons will appear in the Federal University curriculum this year. I'm afraid that someone with such weak genes wouldn't even be able to withstand the weight of the exoskeleton itself."
"...Haha, I think so too, but it's not confirmed yet whether she's the new student."
He Xing slowly turned his gaze away and glanced at that corner. His expressionless face was unusually gloomy, and his lips moved slightly.
Only those who happened to be standing very close could vaguely hear his voice.
"A bunch of idiots."
Being able to leap from tens of meters high and still have the strength to deal with most sniper robots, of course, requires sophisticated skills.
But this requires extremely strong physical fitness to achieve this series of seemingly light and casual movements.
He Xing lowered his eyes; he couldn't do it yet.
Celine, who had brought people to the spaceship, had already stopped when Gu Li stepped onto the first robot, her eyes filled with inquiry as she looked at the girl who had been surrounded by people after landing.
Those people intentionally or unintentionally blocked the girl's view of her.
Celine touched her chin, and just as she took a step, she received a message from the principal, causing her to stop with some regret.
She turned and walked briskly to Wang Li, showing her ID on the virtual screen: "The selection competition is about to begin. Students who haven't registered yet, please go to the waiting area to register immediately."
"You will be in charge of coordinating this with me."
Wang Li and his group had traveled a long way, and their uniforms were in a mess, showing signs of being bombarded and captured by aliens.
Hearing Celine's words, he breathed a sigh of relief and nodded in agreement without hesitation.
He glanced back at Gu Li, who was surrounded by people offering her comfort and concern, his eyes twitched, and he sighed before stepping forward to put his arm around Saide's shoulder.
“Alright, the new students should go register,” he said, looking at the most composed Alfoseny. “I’m leaving the rest to you. Keep an eye on them and make sure they don’t do anything reckless.”
With a bottle of nutritional supplement stuffed in his mouth, Gu Li belatedly looked at Wang Li and pointed to himself.
The words "I'm messing around?" were clearly written in his sky-blue eyes.
Wang Li turned his head away, no longer looking at her innocent expression, and followed Celine as they walked away.
