Viktor, standing at the hatch, narrowed his eyes slightly and remained motionless.
Two figures rushed up from behind. Alfoseni quickly set up his sniper rifle on the ground, put on his goggles, and his eyes were cold.
As the spaceship descended, Syed gripped his pistol, ready to go down and provide support at any moment.
As Gu Li was freefalling through the air, she tilted her head and turned in mid-air to face the three winged creatures swooping down on her. Instead of moving the cross behind her, she gripped the longsword at her waist.
"He Shiyi, since we've already been exposed, it's okay to be a little high-profile, right?"
He Shiyi's equally cold voice echoed in her mind: "I don't mind lending you a hand."
With a gunshot, she drew her longsword at the same time, her eyes filled with fighting spirit as she faced the three winged creatures swooping down.
Alfoseni's expression changed as his shot missed; the thing had dodged his trajectory beforehand!
These three are not ordinary low-level species.
His head buzzed, and he suddenly heard a melodious and long whale song. The figure that was falling in his sight actually stopped briefly in the air after the sound came out.
Her long, light-gold hair, tied back, flew wildly, obscuring her expression, but the long sword was clearly visible to everyone.
The longsword was grasped by a pale hand, and with what seemed like a gentle swipe, the first approaching winged creature abruptly halted its forward flight, its massive body gradually splitting apart and falling to the ground.
Gu Li manipulated the power within a meter around her body, reducing the gravity so that she could step lightly onto the slain winged creatures, using the force to wrap her lower legs around the head of one of the winged creatures.
The longsword in her hand was swung down heavily towards the other wing as she spun around.
The immense power instantly bestowed upon her snapped the winged creature's neck. She then used the momentum to retract her legs and step onto the last winged creature, plunging her longsword deep into its body.
A man and a bird landed with a thud on the tallest building in District Seven.
The Federal University's spaceship gradually passed by the building where Gu Li was located, and the cabin was silent.
Alfoseny stood up, gun in hand, watching the figure disappear quickly outside, his grip on the gun tightening.
Is this the difference between them?
The enormous spaceship descended from the sky, inevitably entering the view of cameras scattered throughout the area. The first thing the support crew had to do upon disembarking was to clean up the scene.
The StarNet inevitably became excited.
[Finally, someone has arrived from District 7! The other districts have all gradually joined the Legion. I thought District 7 had been abandoned!]
We cannot afford to abandon even an inch of land.
I'd like to know what's going on in the lower six districts.
[Am I seeing things? I saw a dark figure jump down when the spaceship was halfway down!]
[You must be mistaken, it can't possibly be that high.]
As rows of somewhat youthful faces emerged neatly from the spaceship, the live stream suddenly fell silent.
They crowded into the live stream room, watching through a virtual screen as the students from the federal university carried out their cleaning work in an orderly and calm manner.
When a camera at the camp was destroyed, a message suddenly flashed across the dark screen.
[This is my sincerest hope that the Eleventh Army truly has a way to stop Grantham.]
A while later, another comment appeared.
[By the way, did you guys see the girl next door? She must be the commander of the 11th Legion, right?]
After separating from the others, Gu Li lingered at the top of the building for a while to get a feel for the surroundings. This area was abandoned by District 7.
Most of the forces in District 7 were concentrated near District 8, and the battle line that stretched from Death Plains turned this area into ruins.
The sky track on the rooftop was completely paralyzed, and the area below the building that could be destroyed was bombed, while the rest was covered with dark marks.
Grantham's army temporarily retreated to the border between Death Plains and District 7 due to the start of the game.
Dean Victor probably intends to clear out the alien species here and relocate the civilians, right?
Gu Li's nose twitched; she could hear faint cries for help echoing throughout the ruined city.
Her gaze swept across the building below.
Calm down.
Those aliens are being driven by Grantham's army, toying with their fears; in other words, she still has a little time.
Before going to rescue the people, she had one more thing to do.
Gu Li sheathed his longsword, leaped off the rooftop, and moved swiftly across the glass of the building, descending nearly a hundred meters.
She pushed off with her foot and broke through the window.
As soon as he entered the floor, his vision suddenly went black. Gu Li gripped the hilt of his knife and looked around before finally settling on the terrified girl in military uniform who was staring through the window.
Gu Li's eyebrows twitched.
Sure enough, there was someone there.
That means there must be something here...
Her gaze fell on the corner to her left, where a barely perceptible red dot flickered.
Gu Li raised the corner of her lips and said, "Very good, this is it."
She walked towards the red dot, when a woman's terrified voice came from behind her: "No, there, it's dangerous, don't go!"
The boots, which landed with a crisp sound, paused for a moment.
Despite the woman's astonished gaze, Gu Li calmly turned around and waved his hand, "No problem, these are just small fry."
"Of course, I might be happier if Grantham left his chosen men here."
The woman forcibly ignored the muttering that followed, and only then did she notice Gu Li's uniform, her eyes visibly lighting up.
