Gu Li suddenly calmed down and, to Caroline's surprise, sat back down in the large armchair, her light-colored eyes staring straight at Caroline.

Caroline smiled and, without saying a word, placed a photo in front of her from the desk: "I need your help to find this person."
She pointed her slender finger at the photo of a tall man in a black trench coat and a top hat.
The man's face was half-hidden by his hat, revealing only the lower half of his face with its smooth lines, but what was most striking were his eyes, which still shone with a captivating light even from the shadow of the hat brim.
Those were vertical pupils, the kind of pupils that belong to a carnivore.
Caroline: "This is a member of the Mysterious Church, and also an enemy I must kill. If you help me find him, we'll call it even, and White Eagle will owe you a favor."
Gu Li twirled her fingers and slipped the photo into her pocket: "I agree."
This man gave him a sense of déjà vu. Since he was a member of the mysterious church, someone in the city would probably recognize him.
Caroline glanced at her with some surprise, seemingly not expecting her to agree so quickly.
She glanced ambiguously at the two people who had lost their minds in the lounge. They were both of medium build, somewhere between teenagers and young adults, with scars covering their well-defined bodies, creating a violent yet beautiful sight.
Moreover, both of them are good-looking, and they even have fluffy ears on their heads, which is indeed endearing.
Gu Li stared blankly at Caroline's expression and tapped the table.
"We don't have much time left, give me the doctor's address."
Caroline readily agreed and thoughtfully provided a vehicle and assistance. She leaned against the window with her arms crossed, watching the car gradually drive away.
Lorenzo was a church doctor who was baptized at a young age and was one of the lucky few who managed to remain sane, out of a one in a thousand chance.
She was also fortunate enough to awaken the ability to dispel pollution, becoming a cherished church doctor.
He finished a leisurely day of work. As one of Grantham's most valuable and elite talents, there weren't many people who could be sent to him for treatment.
Lorenzo downed his cup of black tea in one gulp, loosened his tie, and drove home.
He plans to relax tonight.
A loud roar suddenly came from the road behind him, interrupting his enjoyment. Lorenzo honked the horn in annoyance, reminding the racers behind him that this was the church doctor's car!
To everyone's surprise, the unremarkable modified car accelerated again and clearly headed straight for him.
Lorenzo, his face pale, frantically swerved the steering wheel.
Is his lucky life going to end here?!
As if hearing his thoughts, the modified car made a loud noise as its tires hit the ground, and it came to a stop just short of Lorenzo's car.
Before even seeing the people getting out of the car, Lorenzo had already planned how to beg for mercy and successfully save his life.
Lorenzo's eyes widened as he watched the girl in the black dress step out of the modified car, his gaze sweeping over her light blonde hair and sky-blue eyes in amazement.
Her pale skin was a perfect match for that long black dress!
Lorenzo couldn't help but wonder if this young lady wasn't good at driving.
If she comes to apologize, how can he get her contact information without leaving a trace?
Gu Li drove the modified car that Caroline had kindly provided, speeding all the way and blocking the doctor on the street. Under the complicated gazes of the assistants behind her, she strode towards Lorenzo.
Lorenzo leaned against the car window and greeted Gu Li with a smile: "Hi, sweetheart."
Gu Li paused, a look of astonishment mixed with disbelief on her face. She looked at him carefully; it was the person in the file.
Lorenzo noticed her pause, seemingly surprised, and quietly cleared his throat: "It's alright, sweetheart. Everyone makes mistakes. It's not your fault. May I ask if I have the honor of having your... contact information?"
Before he could finish speaking, Gu Li pounced on him. Lorenzo felt a blur before his eyes, and his body went light as he was pulled away from the driver's seat.
He heard Gu Li's slightly apologetic voice in his ear: "Excuse me, could you please do me a favor?"
Lorenzo, being carried on the shoulders of a girl shorter than himself, felt his brain rush with blood and his cheeks instantly turn bright red: "Hehehe! Sweetheart, I can help, but seriously, could you please not be so rough every time!"
"I'm a decent person, after all!"
He understood; this person had come specifically to ask him to save someone.
That's how it is in the outer city of Grantham; the various factions are mixed, and when something like this happens, they just resort to violence to solve it.
After Lorenzo finished speaking, the man had already been thrown into the back seat. He quickly adjusted his posture, leaned over, and said to Gu Li across the row of seats, "Are you really not considering taking the normal route?"
"Maybe we can still be friends, the kind who can have coffee together from time to time."
Gu Li, who was turning the car around, only showed him a pale profile.
Lorenzo clicked his tongue and leaned back heavily: "I understand your desire to save people, but this is the fifth time this month!"
He said angrily, "Do you know what this means? It means I'm forced to make house calls at least once or twice a week! Why can't you have someone else come in rotation!"
Jack, who was sent to support Gu Li, glanced around for a moment. He was the one who kidnapped Lorenzo last month.
Gu Li stopped his car at the alley entrance and looked back at Lorenzo, who was still rambling on and on. His naturally curly brown hair trembled with his movements.
She suddenly leaned over and slapped his bouncy forehead. Lorenzo immediately fell silent, staring at her with his mouth agape.
Gu Li jumped out of the car and moved to the back seat. Jack got in and drove. She skillfully took out an eye mask and tossed it to Lorenzo: "You guys put these on too."
Lorenzo blushed and opened his mouth, when suddenly several hands reached out from behind him and took the blindfold from his hand.
Lorenzo, his face flushed, looked over and almost jumped up. He met the gazes of several smirking old men huddled in the back of the cargo box.
What are you all doing here?!
The group of people who had been abducted exchanged glances and then simultaneously put on blindfolds.
"It's alright, Lorenzo. You don't need to worry about us old guys. You can talk to your sweetheart more."
Another middle-aged doctor said wearily, "I never thought we'd have to have a group consultation one day. I suggest you get some rest, Lorenzo."
Lorenzo stared blankly as he put on the blindfold, instantly becoming as quiet as a chicken.
Jack parked the car in front of the villa where Gu Li had stayed for the first night and nodded to Gu Li: "The person has been delivered."
Lorenzo was led into the small building, and his movements were even more familiar than those of Gu Li, as he easily made his way to the bedroom on the second floor.
Lorenzo, who was the first to go in, let out a gasp, followed by a pause from the other three doctors.
The two men, who should have been tied up in the room, bared their canine teeth and reached out to strike Lorenzo, who was walking in front of them.
