Chapter 36 The Pork Chop Immortal!!

Gu Li moved swiftly through the black mist, where countless strange creatures or other things kept passing by her. The bone whales surrounding her emitted a faint blue glow, and a distant, ethereal cry kept those creatures at bay.

Before reaching her limit, Gu Li sprinted desperately in the direction she remembered. After crashing into the wall for the third time, she stopped, panting. She rubbed her increasingly sore nose and retracted the bone whale before it started bleeding.

The undercurrents around her finally touched her skin for the first time, leaving deep and shallow scars. Gu Li began to slow down and grope her way forward.

Without the barrier of the bone whale's force field, she used the direction of the airflow to block the attack with a bang with her right-hand short sword, while her left-hand claws slashed fiercely.

The claws felt wet and slippery; having landed a successful blow, Gu Li immediately turned and walked forward.

The sound of wind breaking through the air as the attack came from all directions. Gu Li's wide-open eyes, though strained, only gained a sliver of visibility as sand was blown into them by the wind.

She bent her knees and leaped up to dodge the alien creature that pounced on her from behind. She simply closed her eyes, flapped her wings, stepped on one of the alien creatures, and flew past.

A sharp pain suddenly shot through her flapping wings, and Gu Li's face turned pale. Fresh blood, unlike that of the alien species, flowed down her silvery-white wings, and she cursed inwardly.

She still hadn't mastered the altitude. She flew too high, and there was something in the space above three meters. In just an instant, half of her wings were cut off as she flew over that height.

The scent of fresh blood spread, and sure enough, the entire black mist erupted in the next instant. She even felt that all the moving alien species in this space were rushing towards her.

Gu Li gritted her teeth and swiftly plunged her claws into the body of the nearest alien, using it as a makeshift shield in front of her as she nimbly darted into the horde of aliens ahead.

What kind of hellish version of a two-way journey is this?!

It took Gu Li a full half hour to walk that short distance. She could vaguely see the small building with its lights on, and on the second floor, a tall figure holding a wine glass was leisurely watching her struggle.

Gu Li, who was almost covered in wounds, didn't need to bleed out. The bright red blood that slid from her wrists clung to the short sword. She subconsciously dodged the sharp teeth that opened behind her, and the short sword in her hand plunged into the body of the alien on the left.

Ignoring the fact that its right side was bitten again while it was off guard, it darted out through the opening that had been painstakingly created, only to be surrounded by countless low-level creatures.

Her hand, gripping the sword, was so wet it was almost impossible to hold it. So she simply let the blood flow around the back of her hand, wrapping the short sword around her wrist. Just a few meters away from the small building, she left a trail of bloody footprints with every step.

He was almost completely numb, mechanically carrying out the killing and parrying, the short distance of one meter felt like an insurmountable chasm.

Excessive blood loss made her body feel cold, but her mind was unusually clear. By the light of the small building, she finally saw clearly in the black fog countless low-level creatures that had no reason and only bloodlust.

She stood among this group of ugly things, blinked her sore eyes, and silently calculated the distance.

Five meters.

Three meters.

One meter.

Finally, the wooden door appeared before her, and behind her were endless low-level alien creatures. She gasped for breath, using her short sword to support herself on the ground to keep from falling.

A bone whale suddenly appeared beside her, and in an instant, any low-level creature that came within a meter of her was slammed into the ground by an invisible pressure.

Blood dripped from her mouth and nose, gradually forming a small puddle on the ground. The bone whale swam slowly past her, and her severed wing drooped on the ground behind her.

The bloodstains on the ground continued to spread as if they were alive, forming a strange pattern centered on the chestnut.

The deer-headed man standing on the second floor paused slightly, his hand holding the wine glass suddenly tightening, and tiny cracks gradually spread across the glass.

Did she inherit the king's power?

Gu Li had been surrounded by these creatures for so long that she wanted to collapse to the ground without caring about her image, but the gazes fixed on her forced her to stubbornly support herself.

With her eyes half-open, she looked at the lower creatures struggling on the ground, chuckled, and her nose started bleeding even more profusely.

She knelt on the spot, extending a blood-red claw and raising it slightly.

Countless crimson spears pierced through the bodies of those alien creatures, and the gushing, spurting crimson blood stained the ground. Gu Li reached out and wiped his nose.

The lower-level creatures on the periphery sensed the oppressive aura emanating from the house and gradually retreated unwillingly.

Gu Li lowered his head and heard the crisp sound of leather shoes on the ground. The pair of gleaming leather shoes stood outside the circle of bloodstains.

Cen Xingbang's voice rose in an eerie tone at the end: "You're quite something, aren't you? It's such a waste to bleed so much. Why don't you put your whale away? If you think there's too much blood, you can give it to me."

Her gaze fell vaguely on his shoes, she rolled her eyes, retracted the bone whale, and then grabbed a claw covered in blood and an unknown liquid, which gripped his trouser leg.

Gu Li looked up innocently: "I've fulfilled my conditions, Mr. Cen. Could you do me a favor and get me in?"

Cen Xingbang glanced at the trouser leg, took a step back, shook off her hand, and hesitantly stretched out two fingers to pull Gu Li's collar inside.

He threw her into the bathtub, looked at the bloodstains on the floor, crossed his arms, and looked down at her: "To be honest, I'm starting to regret it, tsk."

"Just soak it here and rinse it clean, will it fix itself?"

The deer-headed man looked at her bewildered face covered in blood and nodded: "Okay, then hurry up and wash it clean."
