Gu Li stood up: "But when we first met, Eric put his big head with two ram horns and lots of eyes in front of me, didn't he?"
Cecil paused, his words trailing off.
Gu Li continued, "I think everyone's designs are amazing, and they're actually quite cute after a while."
The genuine sincerity in her tone silenced Cecil and Cen Xingbang. Gu Li pointed to her eyes and whispered to her, "Let me tell you a secret: if I wanted, you could all put a filter on my eyes."
"You know, the kind that automatically beautifies or makes things cuter... Hey! Don't look at me like that, I'm telling the truth!"
Gu Li was explaining when he suddenly noticed the deer-headed man looking at him with concern, and he immediately became agitated.
Cen Xingbang immediately grasped her shoulders and whispered comfortingly, "We know, we all believe in you."
Cecil's vines swayed violently in the air: "So that's how it is! I'm so touched, Lili!!"
Gu Li: I think you're all just trying to fool me!
She wearily shut her mouth, indicating that she would no longer argue, and only then did the deer-headed man release her, reaching out with one hand to a branch.
"Click".
The branch snapped crisply in his hand. Gu Li rushed over anxiously and grabbed his hand, saying, "How could it break! Did you use too much force?!"
She watched as the dark liquid slowly flowed from between the branches and suddenly fell silent.
"This is the medicine?"
Cen Xingbang said, "To be precise, it was the blood that the king gave to Cecil."
