Gu Yuanqing's smile froze. Looking at Gu Li's unfamiliar and resistant face, he couldn't help but smile bitterly to himself.

Gu Li blinked, about to say something, when an uninvited person entered from outside the door. The person had long, snow-white hair, and the expression on their face appeared even more indifferent under their snow-white eyelashes.
Said's gaze swept back and forth between the newcomer and Gu Li, who was sitting inside. If he hadn't known in advance that the second-in-command of the Second Legion was Victor's brother, everyone in the Albert family would have had a head of snow-white hair.
I almost thought that Gu Li and this person were related by blood.
That indifferent expression is just too similar.
However, Edward Albert's skin tone is the same chocolate color as Victor's, and the intense and light colors outline a breathtaking power and beauty on him.
The girl sitting on the sofa inside, with her indifferent expression, was as beautiful and aloof as a doll meticulously crafted by the most famous artisan—beautiful but fragile.
Saide withdrew her gaze and began to eat with an air of self-absorption, but she would only make those who looked down on her regret their actions.
The young man standing by the door wasn't wearing a military uniform, but just a casually fitted set of clothes. The black T-shirt outlined his powerful physique, and just standing there, he exuded an imposing aura that no one could ignore.
Before he knew it, all the talking in the room had stopped, and Said was stuck with a mouthful of rice in his mouth, unsure whether to put it down or not.
Gu Li also looked at this uninvited guest with a puzzled expression.
Edward Albert moved under everyone's gaze, raising his muscular arm to his mouth: "Ha~ch~"
He threw his other hand forward at the same time: "This person has been standing outside for a long time, do you know him?"
Judging from his attire, that person was probably from the military.
Gu Yuanqing's expression changed slightly as he recalled what he had just said, wondering how much of their conversation had been overheard.
Gu Li glanced at the unconscious person on the ground, casually rested his chin on his hand, stood up and nodded to Edward: "Thank you for your help. Is there anything else?"
She dragged the unconscious man into the house, casually tossed him to Alfoseny, and, gripping the doorframe, unceremoniously ordered him to leave, his amber eyes, the same as Viktor's, meeting hers.
Gu Li could sense that the person in front of her was exceptionally strong, and she rarely felt a sense of her territory being invaded.
Edward, who lived nearby, had only casually knocked out a suspicious figure, but upon seeing Gu Li's wary blue eyes, he suddenly changed his mind.
"As a thank you gift, how about you treat me to dinner?"
Gu Li glanced at his expressionless, indifferent face, then blinked suspiciously: "That's it?"
Edward had only gone out to eat, and replied somewhat impatiently, "Then I'm leaving."
Since he had said that, Gu Li's expression shifted.
Edward's expression shifted slightly.
"Smack!"
She closed the door without hesitation.
Said quietly appeared behind Gu Li and poked her back: "This is the second-in-command of the Second Legion."
Gu Li clapped his hands, avoiding Saide's oily hands: "So?"
Said glanced at her with a sigh: "Let me put it this way, Lieutenant Edward has been in the army for five years, and the number of people who can eat with him is less than the palm of my hand. More importantly, his abilities are the most outstanding I have ever seen besides you!"
"Edward never meddles in other people's business, but today he probably has something to do with Dean Victor."
Gu Li thought of the person who had completely neglected her, and suddenly opened the door again, saying to the person standing outside, "Want to eat?"
