Chapter 17 Human-Faced Dog

Under everyone's watchful eyes, the light entered Wang Xi's body. Since being corrupted by the Abyss Species, although he barely managed to escape the fate of becoming a monster, he also benefited from that person's influence.

Wang Xi, who was already physically weak and had a mild temperament, had been immersed in the terrifying pollution for many years. It was a long and arduous torment, and the decades felt like hundreds of years to him.

Reason and chaos intertwined; the gates of the abyss had long been opened to him, awaiting his chosen people, who would either willingly fall into it or vanish completely from this world.

Wang Xi didn't need to look back to know that the street was now full of his old friends, some of whom he thought had died a few years ago, and now they were all gathered around this girl.

They all looked like little kids begging for candy at the village entrance.

Slowly squinting and enjoying the rare moment of relaxation, Wang Xi felt a surge of black mist below his chest. He pulled out a handful of gleaming Federal Coins and didn't ask if he could buy more.

He turned and gave up his seat, his nearly rotten limbs emerging from the black mist to stand beside him. He watched as his many old comrades made a rare appearance, their ugly faces showing unusual expressions of comfort. His long-decayed chest seemed strange.

Gu Li hadn't expected that the appearance of the first Abyss creature with a cartoonish, big-eyed appearance would directly attract the attention of what was estimated to be the entire street's residents. They all surrounded her, throwing handfuls of glittering silver coins into her arms.

It was a little black goat with straight goat horns... Its true form was a multi-legged monster that was rotting and dripping with water. Although it was also a goat, this one was even more severely mutated than Eric.

Fortunately, it only had one pair of eyes. Even though they were rectangular eyes, unique to the Capricorn genus, Gu Li could see the arrogance and indifference in them. The little black sheep pretended not to care and scratched the ground with its hooves.

Knowing that this strange Child of Light was watching him, he raised his head even higher: "There's plenty of your tip, keep the change."

What a noble little black sheep!

Gu Li twitched the corner of his mouth, precisely tossing the extra portion back to the little black sheep, and incidentally, a wisp of starlight floated into his body along with it.

"I'm an honest merchant, I do business with clearly marked prices, I won't overcharge you, and you've come more than once, so I suggest you save your money."

The cashier position was Cecil's suggestion to her. If it were just about doing good deeds, not to mention her limited abilities, those who weren't thinking clearly might fight over it, resulting in casualties.

We've all been here for decades, and we all know each other. Those who aren't crazy yet might be soon. Dealing with these people requires a certain level of restraint.

Ever since Gu Li learned that everyone's emotions and perceptions of her could become power, she has regarded everyone in the alien city as her treasure.

Of course, the second method was chosen – trading.

The first day was a huge success. Gu Li looked at the surging Yin energy around her, and her eyes were filled with satisfaction. The energy reserves in her body were unexpectedly starting to change.

She hadn't expected that the mere fame of one street on the first day could boost her energy reserves. She wondered if these alien species were simply too naive, or if she had underestimated the impact of the purification.

Gu Li sat on Angel's lap, his bright sky-blue eyes narrowed, and the way he reached out to sprinkle starlight made him look like an old farmer feeding chickens.

His face even carried a hint of kindness.

She gazed at the alien creatures surrounding her, and for the first time was somewhat amazed by the richness of species in the alien city. The light gray and dark gray slimes and the black-eyed creatures were all Abyss species.

The only differences are in their appearance, size, eye position, and number.

Capillaries are the easiest to identify, as most of them have at least one pair of horns. Their unique eyes are more random, sometimes appearing as one pair and sometimes as many as dozens of pairs.

There aren't many winged creatures on this street. Most of them resemble bird-men, possessing a human-like physique and an arbitrary number of wings. The position of the winged creatures' eyes is also quite random, with some even growing on their tongues.

Gu Li was a little worried that this guy with eyes on his tongue might get conjunctivitis, but judging from the thick saliva constantly dripping from it, he actually benefited from the misfortune and was free from dry eye syndrome from then on.

Tongue-Eye Bro blinked his dozen or so large, bright eyes, and after the light entered his body, he let out an extremely seductive sigh: "Girl, thank you so much, I feel much better now, even my dry eyes are much better."

Gu Li: Huh?

However, what Gu Lixin likes the most is a group of small animals whose bodies approach various kinds of small animals and become especially cute in her eyes.

Gu Li reached out and covered a soft head with her hands. Was this a big, beautiful head? It was completely different from the monkey tyrant who slapped her on Mount Emei in her previous life.

When Gu Li ran out of strength, she used the excuse of needing to get closer to transfer the energy, and amidst the knowing gazes of the crowd, she touched all the large, beautiful eyes of the aliens. Despite the sharp gazes of the rather casual-looking aliens, she turned her head nonchalantly and patted Angor with a smile.

That's all for today. Welcome to visit us tomorrow!

Angel finally breathed a sigh of relief and burst into ten times his usual speed, rushing straight towards the sea. His voice was somewhat dry for some reason: "Miss, we're far enough away now. You can turn your head back."

Gu Li fiddled with the plastic megaphone in his hand, then casually touched his head, and starlight flowed from his palm into his body.

She wasn't feeling guilty; she just petted a couple of small animals, so what?
