I won't say who's applying double standards in Chapter 66.

This villa is luxurious, contrasting with the overall style of Exile 1. Every corridor is meticulously crafted, with short-pile carpets on the floor and European-style latticework carved into the window sills casting beautiful patterns on the walls.

The heavy, light beige curtains fall to the ground, partially obscuring the lush green lawn and fountain outside the villa. Standing there, one can imagine the villa's owner leisurely strolling out of the bedroom each morning, casually admiring the scenery outside the window.

Meanwhile, the villa's owner, his face deathly pale, clung to the tail of the corpse snake. His skin was pale and slippery, reflecting a smooth luster under the occasional light that shone upon it.

His limbs also became incredibly flexible, twisting and turning on the ground as the corpse snake moved forward.

Gu Li's sky-blue eyes stared silently at the face whose features had not yet completely faded, his terrified eyes pale as death.

It's likely that Duran's brother's body was possessed by this thing.

Of course, as a mutant with the strength of a missionary, it doesn't need to consider the thoughts of mere humans.

Gu Li's footsteps landed on the carpet covered in transparent slime, like a feline hunting, without making a sound.

She stopped two meters away from the corpse snake, her gaze meeting the eyes of the man who was being squeezed and constricted in the center by the snake.

Xu Feihe looks very unwell.

His mask had fallen off during the struggle, and his dejected face was now gradually turning pale and slippery, as if he were enduring great pain.

The large-caliber gun in his hand was pressed hard against the face of a corpse. The body, which had been directly touched by the alien, quickly began to mutate and no longer had the strength to pull the trigger.

At this moment, Gu Li emitted shallow breaths from its mouth and nose, and its sharp claws gleamed with fine silver light as it assumed a hunting posture.

She and Xu Feihe stared at each other in pain and shock for a moment, then looked away as if nothing had happened.

It was a miscalculation; I didn't expect him to remain conscious.

Xu, a burly man, is not a farmer; his pupils appear to be in trembling light. (Image: Earthquake in the pupils)

She felt Ning Jia's hopeful gaze fixed on her from behind, and Gu Li suppressed the urge to come back later, sighing as she did so.

She muttered to herself, "You promised to keep it a secret."

If it doesn't work out, we can just push it all onto He Shiyi.

The Corpse Serpent finally spotted Gu Li standing behind it. The slick body that filled the aisle trembled and let out an extremely angry hiss.

All the coiled corpses began to spin rapidly, and finally a huge snake head burst out from among them, its sharp teeth snapping at her.

In a daze, Xu Feihe saw the slender girl facing the alien species alone. He subconsciously ignored the abnormality of her body, struggled, and his voice was so low that it was almost inaudible.

"Run...run! Run!"

He let out a desperate roar from his pale lips, and when he realized that the sound he was making was almost indistinguishable from the hiss of a snake, despair finally appeared on his face.

Because of his mistake and dereliction of duty, a monster close to the level of a familiar will be released in the center of the area.

Xu Feihe nearly shuddered as she tried to banish the image from her mind that hovered above the high-rise building, turning everyone into part of a snake's body.

Wang Yi, who was waiting outside, should have noticed something was wrong by now; reinforcements might be arriving soon!

When the corpse snakes that were entangled with him began to tremble, Xu Feihe was already prepared to become neighbors with Gu Li on the corpse snakes, one after the other. Suddenly, his eyes, which had lost their ability to close, went dark.

A pale face, yet with a human glow and elasticity, appeared before him. The eyes, as blue as the sky, held a smile, and the lips moved as if speaking to him.

With a hint of disgust, Gu Li stabbed her claw into the open mouth of the corpse snake. The sharp claw tip pierced through the exceptionally swollen and huge head, and the fingertip covered in black slime emerged from the back of the head before she abruptly flung it away.

Without turning her head, she reached out and grabbed the exquisite, heavy curtains. With a powerful push of her toes, she leaped into the air, dodging the whooshing sound coming from behind. She landed on top of the corpse snake's body and crouched in front of Xu Feihe.

Sharp claws waved in front of him, before Gu Li could even speak.

The mutated version of Xu Feihe, now resembling a corpse snake, suddenly opened its mouth and emitted a series of hissing sounds.

Gu Li stared blankly for a moment, when the corpse snake attacked again from behind. The man in front of her, whose whole body had turned pale, was being rapidly devoured by the corpse snake and gradually sinking.

She reached out and hooked her claws around Xu Feihe's collar, her arm, hidden beneath the fabric, taut silently.

Gu Li looked at Xu Feihe, whose accent had changed to Parsley's after just a few minutes, and said in a subtle tone, "I don't understand. Think about it and tell me after you come out?"

Xu Feihe stared with dead fish eyes, horrified as she watched several pale corpses slowly rise from behind her, her voice becoming even more agitated.

"Hiss hiss hiss!! Hiss hiss hiss hiss hiss hiss!!!"

No matter what, I would never suddenly mutate and develop Scythian blood...

Gu Li sighed, hooked one claw around his collar, and used his legs, which were on the surface of the corpse snake's body, to exert force.

Ning Jia, who was silently shedding tears in the distance, seemed to hear a "plop" sound of flesh and bones breaking.

With one foot planted on the corpse snake's body, Gu Li forcibly pulled Xu Feihe out of the snake's grasp. Xu Feihe, who was almost assimilated with the corpse snake, and the giant monster let out painful roars.

"Hiss—Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!"

The commotion in the corridor was so loud that it caught the attention of the two people who remained outside. Duran stared in horror at the pale, white faces that filled the corridor.
