"Why are you so nervous?" Isaac put the teapot back in its place, but got up and walked to Yun Wei.
The tall attendant stretched out his long arm and gently pulled the curtain inside the gauze curtain over the upright master.
The light that had been filtering through the window bounced back and forth across the curtains, making the room even brighter, but making Yun Wei's seat appear even darker.
Isaac was wearing dark linen trousers today, with only a deerskin belt around his waist. And now, the brass buckle in the center of the belt suddenly caught Yun Wei's chaotic gaze.
Yun Wei was already flustered, so he immediately lowered his eyes and focused his gaze on the carpet below.
He then realized that Isaac was not only tall, but also had excellent proportions. Even though the other man was only wearing very simple linen trousers, his long and straight legs were still visible.
Even through the pants and skin, Yun Wei could imagine that the other party's leg and shin bones were of the highest quality in terms of texture and appearance.
He mumbled, trying to cover up his nervousness, "Where...where am I nervous...Isaac, you're blocking the light!"
"Feel sorry."
"Hello--"
While Isaac apologized, he scooped Yun Wei up, turned him around, and with a soft gasp, he and his master fell sideways onto the soft bed.
In Yun Wei's view, time seemed to have stood still.
As he was being led by the man he loved, the scenery around him was spinning rapidly, but he only noticed the pair of eyes that were staring at him intently.
The other person's eyes were dangerous and dark, and he could read in them a resolute patience and a silent longing.
Perhaps because of that brief period of high-speed movement, when they lay down on the bed together, Yun Wei could only hear his own heartbeat becoming more and more rapid, as if it was about to jump out of his chest.
Even so, he couldn't bear to look away.
The other person's gaze was so captivating that Yun Wei thought that when he was looked at with such eyes by Isaac, he would find it extremely difficult to refuse any request the other person made.
Because that affectionate gaze itself seemed to be constantly repeating and whispering one thing—
I love you. I'd give you everything.
“Isa…” Yun Wei bit his lower lip, but a low, hoarse call escaped from his throat.
His fingers were still clinging to the other person's strong forearm, but at that moment they unintentionally hooked onto the other person's arm.
Yun Wei thought that what followed should have been a natural progression.
That's what he originally thought.
Until Isaac grabbed his hands and stopped his restless fingers.
Yun Wei: "?"
He glanced at the knight, who was enduring the hardship with a puzzled look.
The other person was undoubtedly very eager at that moment; he could clearly see the thin layer of sweat on the other person's forehead and the obvious blue veins at the temples.
His temples, which were slightly protruding, bulged out like a cute frog.
Just as he was about to ask what was going on, he saw Isaac suddenly sit up.
The broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted knight had his back to the agitated mage, but he turned his head to the side, revealing a clearly defined jawline.
Isaac hesitated for a moment, then finally said in a hoarse voice, "Yun, there's something I need to tell you."
Yun Wei asked curiously, "What is it?"
He sat up as well, his empty fingertips seemingly still retaining the sensation from a few seconds ago, leaving him feeling empty inside.
However, Isaac did not continue speaking; instead, he began to unbutton his shirt.
The knight's demeanor had been rigorously trained, so much so that even in such casual movements, his elbows and shoulders maintained a graceful curve, like a still dancer.
Yun Wei, however, was preoccupied with Isaac's health and had no time to think about anything else.
The thought that had just arisen vanished in an instant. He assumed that Isaac's body must have experienced some kind of side effect after being reshaped by that crimson power.
Even the most restrained Servants had to proactively seek his advice.
His gaze fell on the other's shoulder, where the teeth marks had not completely disappeared, and the seventeen-pointed star scar shone with a crystalline white, truly like a morning star that had already vanished.
Not far from the morning star was Isaac's little wolf tail tied behind his head.
Her thick, brown hair was neatly styled, revealing an unruly air that seemed out of place with her overall demeanor.
Like a sculpture with contrasting colors, it adds a touch of grandeur to the otherwise serious and rigid background.
At that moment, Isaac casually tossed his shirt onto the back of a chair and turned to look at him.
The other party said, "Yun, use your spiritual power to enter my body, just like you did before."
Yun Wei didn't react for a moment.
He thought Isaac meant to let him enter the other's mental space, but then he realized that wasn't what he meant.
In the instant he was stunned, the other person had already grabbed his wrist and pressed his hand against his heart.
The skin beneath my palm was cool and smooth, rising and falling in sync with the other person's unusually slow heartbeat.
Yun Wei, however, felt an astonishing heat.
He quickly lowered his head, banished the distracting thoughts that were welling up in his mind, and focused his attention.
As he pondered deeply, an invisible spiritual force extended from his palm, as fine as a hair.
Through the gaps between the fingers, the invisible threads shimmered brilliantly in the light, like colorful mother-of-pearl inlay.
Through this special probe, Yun Wei discovered that Isaac's body was no longer as broken and decayed as a hellish place.
The opponent's meridians seemed to have been completely repaired by that crimson power, becoming supple and expansive. Even though he had never cultivated battle qi, he could imagine how easily such muscles could withstand the onslaught of battle qi.
However, the other person's meridians also appeared to be pure blood red.
He felt as if he were standing in a darkened room bathed in red light, where everything he saw was tinged with a blood-red hue. Even though his spiritual perception lacked the sense of smell, he could almost smell the faint stench of blood.
It wasn't fishy or foul; rather, it had a captivating, sweet aroma that was intoxicating.
It was a feeling that Yun Wei couldn't quite describe, as if it contained the scent of life being born here.
After smoothly tracing the Ren and Du meridians connecting the other person's chest and back, Yun Wei stopped the investigation.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Isaac looking at him quietly.
For some reason, he seemed to see a fleeting trace of sadness in the other person's affectionate eyes.
"Overall, I feel your situation is much better than before, Isa. I think you no longer need my 'maintenance'." Yun Wei lowered his eyes and thought for a moment before making the above assessment.
After a pause of one beat, he continued, "So, what is it you want to tell me?"
Upon hearing this, Isaac quietly released his hand from the back of Isaac's hand and lowered his head.
The man, who was completely naked from the waist up, said, "I want to talk about our 'contract'."
