Yun Wei said no more.
He got up and walked towards the shack he had just built, but as soon as he took a step, he gasped in shock.
In fact, he had already sensed it.
My inner thighs are probably scraped raw, and I'm feeling a sharp, burning pain in waves.
He looked at Isaac with a bit of embarrassment, "Um, could you wait outside for a bit?"
"What's wrong?" Isaac noticed Yun Wei's unusual behavior, and after a moment's thought, he immediately understood. "Sorry, it's all my fault. Let me take a look."
Having said that, he actually strode towards Yun Wei.
Yun Wei was completely bewildered. He let out a helpless "Ah," but then seemed to be frozen in place and unable to move.
Isaac immediately chuckled, "What's with your reaction? It's not like you haven't seen it before."
Unsurprisingly, Yun Wei's face turned bright red instantly.
He cursed himself inwardly, "Why are you being so dramatic?"
The two of them were quite honest with each other on many occasions.
It seems...
Alas, even he himself didn't know why he was so shy.
After the brief separation, he felt like he was going through withdrawal, craving Isaac's touch even more than before.
That tingling, burning sensation emanated from every cell, a tingling, itchy feeling that seeped into your very bones.
While he was still stunned, Isaac easily picked him up and placed him on the soft grass bed.
The other person knelt down in front of him and gently removed his shoes and socks.
His deep-set eyes were filled with unwavering focus, reminding him of the cave from back then. The other person had been just as focused then, and his heart had skipped a beat.
Yun Wei was so embarrassed he felt like he was about to explode.
Helpless, he leaned against the tree trunk behind him and simply raised his arm to block his view, preferring not to see it.
The entire space was filled with the smell of earth and moss.
In that cold, barren atmosphere, he was able to pinpoint Isaac's scent precisely. It was a completely different, unexpectedly clean aroma that made him think of sunshine, rain, and lush, leafy trees.
He blocked his view; he closed his eyes.
He had thought he could escape.
But after temporarily losing his sight, the rustling sounds in front of him were amplified infinitely, and the other person's body temperature, which was slightly higher than his, was like a raging fire that would burn him to ashes in an instant.
In the vast emptiness of waiting, the other person's fingers brushed against his belt, and the weight of their hand inevitably fell on his lower abdomen.
Yun Wei froze, unsure of how to react.
He didn't know whether he should immediately pull in his stomach or tense his underdeveloped abdominal muscles.
His mind was blank and he was making a lot of noise.
But at that very moment, he happened to hear Isaac's voice.
"Relax, Yun, I won't do anything unnecessary."
The other person assured him, their voice as clean as their scent, as if they were smiling, and completely overlapping with the initial impression in his memory.
"Mmm," Yun Wei responded, her voice barely audible.
He felt even worse.
He felt his body temperature rising rapidly, and his heart began to beat faster and faster uncontrollably.
In his last memory of that day, Yun Wei didn't know how his work pants were eventually taken off.
He only remembered the warmth of the other person's palm.
It's no longer separated by a layer of fire element; it's simply the other person's faithful body temperature.
That is the affection and love conveyed as blood flows through the other person's body.
The other person's broad palms were placed on his parted thighs, massaging them with utmost gentleness.
The calluses at the base of his fingers almost brought him to tears.
But he was clearly not in pain.
Yun Wei didn't know why, but he suddenly felt like crying.
Even though he had calmed down, and the atmosphere was so warm and cozy.
Outside the shack, the cold wind howled from the north.
Inside the shack, he could only hear a heartbeat that he couldn't quite place, one that seemed to belong to someone else.
He heard Isaac say, "It's alright, it should just be a strain, there's no broken skin at all. I'll help you loosen it up now, so you'll be fine tomorrow."
He could only nod quietly, indicating that he was at the other party's disposal.
And Isaac did not disappoint him. Under the other's moderate force, the burning pain quickly disappeared, replaced by an indescribable soreness.
Yun Wei had no idea what had happened.
The other person's hand had already left his body, but he still vividly remembered the sensation of touch.
The areas touched by the other person felt hot and swollen, as if they were reliving the experience.
“I’m sorry, this is really my fault. It would be much better with a saddle.” Isaac continued, “If there’s a chance in the future, we can ride together. I promise you’ll love it. It’s a completely different kind of joy from flying.”
"I understand," Yun Wei said hoarsely. "I don't blame you, it's just..."
Yun Wei stopped talking.
He himself didn't know why he blurted out a word that represented a turning point.
Just like he couldn't understand his own feelings at that moment.
They remained silent in the darkness, their soft breaths mingling and inseparable.
After an unknown amount of time, Isaac broke the silence first, "Then, I'll go outside and watch over you, tonight—"
His goodnight was destined to be unfinished.
Because Yun Wei had already grabbed his arm and stubbornly lay down.
Isaac nearly lost his balance in the sudden movement.
Fortunately, his other, still functional arm managed to support him in time, preventing him from falling entirely onto Yun Wei.
But the hastily erected makeshift shelters were not so lucky.
It nearly collapsed amidst a series of cracking protests.
The two of them held their breath and listened intently.
In the quiet gaze that met each other's eyes, neither of them knew what they were listening to.
The surroundings finally quieted down.
"That was close, just a hair's breadth away," Isaac whispered, his breath inevitably brushing against Yun Wei's neck at such close range.
Although the poor shack survived, the inevitable deformation made the already cramped interior even lower.
Yun Wei carefully turned to the side, but still stubbornly hugged the strong arm in front of her chest. "Goodnight, Isa."
The man behind her paused for a moment, then replied, "Good night."
The other side of the hay bed finally sank in, and Isaac's forehead rested against the back of his neck. The arm in front of him finally tightened its grip, pulling him back slightly.
This is the most common sleeping position for two people.
In this movement, Yunwei's palm could just barely grasp Isaac's thumb.
Please stay with me forever, Isaac, for every night from now on.
In the boundless darkness, the magician silently moved his lips, as if chanting the most complex wish in the world.
