Before Meng Xin could react, he saw a blur before his eyes and was then slammed to the ground by a tremendous force. Immediately afterward, a foot wearing a white embroidered shoe stomped hard on his back, rendering him unable to move.
"Ah!" Meng Xin screamed in agony, trying to struggle, but found himself completely powerless to resist.
Shen Yunsheng looked at the man at her feet with a cold expression, her heart filled with disgust and anger.
She hates lazy, good-for-nothing scumbags the most, especially scumbags like Meng Xin who live off women and have no bottom line. She wishes she could crush him to death.
Today, she was determined to teach this arrogant fool a lesson and vent her anger for her sister-in-law.
Xiao Jingchuan stared wide-eyed in astonishment at his enraged wife, whose eyes were filled with fury and determination, as if she wanted to tear Meng Xin to pieces.
He was secretly pleased. Now, without him having to do anything himself, his wife would make Meng Xin wish he were dead.
The Luo couple and Xiao Xuemei were terrified by Shen Yunsheng. They stared at him in horror, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
They had never seen such a fierce woman, and they couldn't believe that such a thing had actually happened in front of them.
Xiao Wenjing stared wide-eyed at everything in disbelief. Although he knew his daughter-in-law had beaten Meng Xin to avenge his daughter, he still couldn't accept such a domineering daughter-in-law.
Shen Yunsheng was having a great time, stomping hard on Meng Xin's back and kicking him around like a ball.
Each of her kicks was delivered with tremendous force, causing Meng Xin excruciating pain.
No matter how much Meng Xin begged for mercy, Shen Yunsheng ignored him.
The commotion in the main room of the Meng family was so loud that it alerted the neighbors. They heard the screams and rushed to the Meng family compound.
"My God, who is that woman? Why did she hit Meng Xin?!"
"I think I know her. Her name is Shen Yunsheng. She's the most notorious shrew in Dahe Village!"
"Haha! If it really is her, Meng Xin will be lucky to escape with his life. I've heard that Shen Yunsheng from Dahe Village is a formidable woman; she even dares to deal with her father-in-law."
Hearing the neighbors' comments, Shen Yunsheng beat Meng Xin even harder.
"Serves you right for bullying my older sister! Serves you right for living off a woman! Serves you right for not studying hard!"
Meng Xin was beaten so badly that he cried out for mercy.
At this moment, a tall old man rushed over upon hearing the news and shouted angrily, "You brat, let go of my son right now!"
Shen Yunsheng stopped when she saw who it was. She recognized the old man. His name was Meng Shouyi. He was her husband's older sister's father-in-law. He had visited their house last year for Granny Yang's birthday. Shen Yunsheng had some recollection of him.
Seeing his son screaming in agony, Meng Shouyi wished he could slap Shen Yunsheng to death.
Seeing him rushing over angrily, Xiao Jingchuan immediately pushed him away.
“Master Meng, even if we beat your son to death, he deserves it.”
"You... how could you say that? He... he's your brother-in-law!" Meng Shouyi looked at Xiao Jingchuan with a face full of horror, his voice trembling as he spoke.
He was filled with fear and confusion. This guy was clearly just an ordinary person, yet he possessed the aura of a king.

Meng Shouyi inwardly groaned; he hadn't expected to provoke such a terrifying figure. Faced with Xiao Jingchuan's oppressive aura, he felt his legs go weak, almost unable to support his weight.
However, despite his extreme fear, Meng Shouyi still managed to force himself to say a few words in his defense.
“Your eldest sister married Ah Xin of her own free will; we did not force her.”
Meng Shouyi paused for a moment, then said, "You have seriously injured my perfectly healthy son. You must give me an explanation."
