"Your husband died from a drunken fall, what does it have to do with us!" Shen Yunsheng finally couldn't help but retort.
She looked her over carefully. This old woman was exceptionally tall and sturdy. Unlike those timid old women, she exuded a roguish air about her.
The moment their eyes met, Granny Tian glared fiercely at Shen Yunsheng. "Hmph, you little brat, you dare to talk back? My man was clearly beaten to death by you, and you still have the nerve to argue!"
Shen Yunsheng's face turned red with anger at her words, but he still suppressed his anger and said, "Don't be unreasonable, okay? He clearly died from a drunken fall, how can you blame us?"

Granny Yang shouted angrily, and Meng Xin immediately responded as soon as she finished speaking.

Meng Xin stared fiercely at Xiao Jingchuan from the side, his eyes filled with hatred.
Just then, Yan Li arrived with several of her men.
"What happened?" Yan Li asked, looking at the scene before her.
"Manager Yan, you've come at the right time. This crazy woman is being unreasonable, insisting that we killed her father-in-law," Shen Yunsheng quickly explained.
Yan Li glanced at Granny Tian, then at Xiao Jingchuan and his wife, and already knew what was going on.
"Grandma Tian, don't wrong an innocent person. Your husband fell and died on his own; many neighbors saw it. If you continue to make trouble, I'll report you to the authorities." Yan Li's voice wasn't loud, but it was very authoritative.
Granny Tian was speechless after hearing Yan Li's words. She knew that Yan Li was quite prestigious in the town, and what she said made sense.
But she was unwilling to accept it. Although Xiao Jingchuan didn't directly kill her man, he was indirectly killed by him.
Meng Xin sneered, "Manager Yan, it's none of your business to decide what happens in our family. If you don't want to affect your business, then don't meddle in other people's business."
Yan Li's face turned cold. "Meng Xin, don't think I'm afraid of you. I'm going to take charge of this today!"
Shen Yunsheng glanced at Yan Li gratefully, secretly relieved.
When the atmosphere became tense, Ma the Cripple stepped out from the crowd and advised Granny Tian and her son, "Sister-in-law, I've heard about what happened to Brother Meng. Please accept my condolences."
"Uncle Ma, my father was killed by Xiao Jingchuan. You must seek justice for him!"
When Meng Xin saw Ma the Cripple appear, he immediately accused Xiao Jingchuan. He thought to himself that Ma the Cripple and his father had been old friends for many years, and he certainly wouldn't sit idly by.
Shen Yunsheng frowned slightly. This crippled man was no ordinary person. If he stood up for Meng Xin, it would cause some trouble.
Xiao Jingchuan chuckled to himself, "My silly wife, don't worry, Ma the Cripple will never help Granny Tian."
"Uncle, your brother Meng died unjustly! You must seek justice for us!" Granny Tian cried as she looked at the lame man, Ma.
Just as Ma the Cripple was about to speak, the people around him began to murmur amongst themselves.
"Hey! This cripple Ma is the second-in-command of the Green Bamboo Gang. If he stands up for Meng Xin, Xiao Jingchuan and his wife will be in big trouble."
"In my opinion, Ma the Cripple might not help Granny Tian and her son. Everyone knows that Meng Shouyi died from a fall while drinking. No matter how powerful Ma the Cripple is, he wouldn't dare to distort the truth."
Granny Tian and her son were furious, and they were about to speak.
Ma the Cripple looked around, crossed his arms, and said loudly, "Everyone, please be quiet. I've heard about this too. My brother Meng did indeed die from a fall while drunk, and it has nothing to do with Xiao Jingchuan."
