At the end of last month, one night when I was staring at the screen and writing a novel, something shaped like half a gear suddenly appeared in my eye, flashing back and forth like a flashlight. I couldn't see anything clearly, and I was terrified.
It was gone after half an hour, but my eyes felt extremely dry and tired for the next few days.
I went to the hospital a few days ago and the doctor said it might be an eye problem or a blood vessel problem. He asked me to use eye drops to dilate the pupil and did a jigsaw color ultrasound examination.
I noticed that the border of one of my eyes was a little black, and they told me to pay attention. If it’s serious, I’ll need laser treatment, otherwise my retina may detach easily, so they asked me to use my eyes less.
He was very well behaved at the beginning. He rarely looked at his phone. He would listen to novels or crosstalk.
I have been overusing my eyes these past two days. At night, I feel my eyes are so irritated that I dare not stare at the screen all the time to write. I'm going to take a day off.
