The next day, as promised, Tian Yu went to the prison with Prince Wu. The prince was waiting outside and told Tian Yu to hurry and not to delay too long. Tian Yu nodded in agreement and, led by a jailer, put on a cloak to cover herself and entered the dungeon. Upon arriving, she saw Zhao Moyan lying on the bed, looking somewhat disheveled. Tian Yu took off her cloak and tears welled up in her eyes. Hearing someone approach, Zhao Moyan looked up and saw a dark figure standing before the cell door. Although the dungeon was dark, he recognized Tian Yu at a glance. He scrambled to his feet in a panic and went to her, saying, "Tian Yu, what brings you here? Don't cry, I'm alright."
Tian Yu looked at Zhao Moyan without saying a word, only crying. Zhao Moyan reached out and wiped away Tian Yu's tears through the railing, smiling as he said, "I'm really fine, I'll be alright in a few days. Didn't I tell them not to tell you? Those guys!"
"Do you think you can keep this from me?" Tian Yu said, somewhat angrily.
"I can't hide it anymore! But should I still keep it a secret? I'm sorry, don't cry, I'm really fine, believe me, I'll be able to get out in a few days."

"What are you thinking? You want to have nothing to do with us? You want to pretend you don't know us?"
"Tian Yu! You shouldn't have come to the capital! Do you know how dangerous it is!"
Tian Yu wiped away her tears and said firmly, "Now that I'm here, what are you going to do? If you still don't acknowledge us and still want to push me away, fine! I won't stay here. When I get back, I'll leave your manor, find Tangyuan a new father, and live in the capital!"
Zhao Moyan looked at Tian Yu and hesitated. Tian Yu turned to leave, but Zhao Moyan grabbed her hand as soon as she turned. Tian Yu smiled, turned to look at Zhao Moyan and asked, "What do you mean?"
"I...I don't want you to marry someone else!" Zhao Moyan said to Tian Yu. He was a hundred times unwilling. He had thought that this was the end for them, but who knew she would come to the capital to find him? When he saw her on the outskirts of the capital that day, he had already regretted it. Hearing her call him "Mr. Zhao," he wished he could take her away immediately, leave everything behind, and live a good life as a family of three.

Zhao Moyan looked at Tian Yu with surprise and hurt. Just now she said she liked him, and now she wants him to marry someone else. Zhao Moyan said in a deep voice, "No matter whose idea it is, I will not marry the princess."
“But you’ll die if you do that. If that’s the case, I’d rather you marry the princess.”
"I don't want to marry anyone but you. Promise me you'll stay home and wait patiently, and don't listen to anyone else."
"If you don't marry the princess, you're defying the imperial decree, and that's a capital offense!"
"No, believe me."
Tian Yu saw Zhao Moyan's persistence and was very worried, but she still said, "Okay! I agree, but you must make the prince remove the guards from the Marquis's residence."

Tian Yu noticed his sadness, wiped away her tears, and said, "In my world, only life is the most precious thing. If a person dies, then nothing else matters. Do you understand?"
"I understand, but you have to promise me you won't do anything reckless," Zhao Moyan said, reaching out to take Tian Yu's hand.

"Take care of yourself, I'll wait for you to come out!" Tian Yu said sadly.
The two looked at each other with reluctance. Tian Yu was still taken away by the jailer. Zhao Moyan watched the direction Tian Yu left in until she could no longer see her before withdrawing his outstretched hand.
After returning home, Tian Yu sat in the courtyard in a daze. Tang Yuan came over and stood in front of Tian Yu, saying, "Mommy, where did Daddy go? Where did you go today?"
Tian Yu first pulled Tang Yuan to sit down, and then said, "Your father has been imprisoned by the Emperor, and I'm going to see him today."
