Once outside the palace gates, Tian Yu finally released Zhao Moyan. Zhao Moyan was furious and tore up their divorce papers in front of Tian Yu, declaring, "Whether you're here or not, I will never marry the princess!" He then mounted his horse and rode away alone, leaving Tian Yu alone on the street. What did this mean? He didn't want her anymore. Tian Yu looked back at the guards at the gate, smiled awkwardly, and lifted her skirt, knowing she could only walk back by herself.
Tian Yu hadn't had a proper chance to explore the markets of the capital city, but now, walking alone, she could finally appreciate them. She came across a noodle stall, ordered a bowl of wontons, and only realized she'd forgotten her cash when she went to pay. She smiled at the stall owner and said, "Sir, I was in such a rush that I forgot my money. How about this? I'll leave this here, and I'll send someone to bring the money back later, okay?"
Tian Yu took off an earring and handed it to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper picked it up, looked at it, and said to Tian Yu, "Never mind, judging from your voice, you're from out of town. Be more careful next time."
"No way, I'm definitely going to pay you. Don't worry, I'll send someone to collect it."
“I paid for his money.”
Tian Yu smiled and looked up, thinking it was Zhao Moyan coming to see her, but when she saw Gongye Ming's smiling face, her smile instantly vanished, and she said with disdain, "What are you doing here!?"
After paying the bill, Gongye Ming sat down and said to Tian Yu, "I just arrived in the capital and it's such a coincidence that I ran into you."
"Boring! I thought you'd been killed!" Tian Yu remembered that she had met her demise in the woods, and by the time Zhao Moyan and the others arrived, Gongye Ming had already left.
"I still have to protect you, how can I just die like this?"
"I will pay you back." After saying that, Tian Yu got up to leave.
Gongye Ming continued, "Why are you eating this all alone on the street! It seems Zhao Moyan isn't treating you well!"
"None of your business!" Tian Yu ignored him and left the stall.
"Come with me, I'll take you to eat something delicious." Gongye Ming stepped forward, grabbed Tian Yu's arm, and started walking.
"I'm not going! Let me go!"
"Let's go! It's just ahead." Gongye Ming kept pulling Tian Yu forward.
"No! I want to go back."
"I'll take you home after we finish eating." Without waiting for a reply, Gongye Ming grabbed Tian Yu and started walking away.
Arriving at a restaurant, Tian Yu looked at the name "Yuelai Restaurant" and wondered if it was the same one as the one in Shancheng. Just as she was about to ask, Gongye Ming pulled her into the restaurant. Led by a waiter, they went to a private room on the second floor. Gongye Ming ordered all the restaurant's signature dishes. Tian Yu looked out the window indifferently at the bustling pedestrians on the street in the distance. She thought that Zhao Moyan must be angry, otherwise he wouldn't have left her alone. But why didn't he come to find her? Had she gone too far?
"What are you thinking about?" Gongye Ming asked, waving his hand in front of Tian Yu.
"It's okay, I really need to go back after I finish eating."
"Fine, fine, Zhao Moyan left you alone to go back, aren't you angry?"
How did you know?
“I know a lot more than that. I’ve also heard that you’re now a highly praised Mr. Tian.”
"It's just an empty title! Don't make fun of me."
"Really? I heard that Mr. Tian left the Che Kingdom's delegation speechless, and Mr. Jiang especially praised him repeatedly!"
"Alright, let's eat!"
Looking at the dishes that were served, Tian Yu became even more certain that this restaurant must belong to the Huang family.
"Okay, let's eat. You should try this braised pork too."
"No need, I just ate and I'm not hungry."
"I forgot, you invented this dish."
The waiter who served the food gave Tian Yu a strange look. Tian Yu smiled and glared at Gongye Ming.
Not long after the waiter finished serving the dishes, Huang Xuan appeared in front of Tian Yu.
"I heard from the waiter that a customer came in today and said that this dish was made by her. I guessed it was you. I had heard that you came to the capital, but I never had a chance to visit you. What a coincidence that you came by yourself today."
"Young Master Huang, it's been a long time."
"Madam has come to the capital without giving me prior notice, so I could have gone to greet her."
"It happened so suddenly, and I only recently had the time to go out for a stroll."
"I've heard about your situation. How's it going? Do you need my help?"
"It's all alright now, no need for Young Master Huang to trouble himself."
"You know quite a lot of people, even the young master of the Huang family," Gongye Ming joked.
"Just a partner."

The two exchanged polite greetings and sat down to eat together. Tian Yu suddenly felt that this meal would take a long time. Huang Xuan, having just met Gongye Ming, specially ordered the waiter to bring two jars of fine wine to entertain them.
Finally, they had eaten and drunk some wine, mostly by the two of them, while Tian Yu only drank tea. When they went downstairs, the entire area was crowded with people. Hearing them call her "Mr. Tian," Tian Yu realized that they had all come to see her.
"She really is a woman, impressive!"
"Absolutely! She's also very beautiful."
"Our Marquis is so lucky to have married such a talented woman."
"Yes! They are a perfect match, a match made in heaven."
"Yes! The Marquis protects the country, and the Marquis's wife brings glory to the nation."
"No wonder the Marquis was unwilling to marry the princess. No one would want to trade such a talented woman!"
Amidst the praise, Tian Yu smiled politely and nodded to the passersby. As she approached the door, she saw Zhao Moyan standing there. Their eyes met, and Tian Yu didn't know what to say. Zhao Moyan stepped forward, took Tian Yu's hand, and before anyone could react, mounted his horse and left the restaurant. They rode away in silence. Tian Yu wanted to explain, but seeing that Zhao Moyan didn't seem to want to listen, she didn't dare to speak.
