The sun was high in the sky, but Tian Yu still hadn't come out of her room. Green Willow and Autumn Chrysanthemum were pacing anxiously outside the door, but they didn't dare to disturb her. The Marquis had told them not to bother the Madam when he left, but guests had come to the front yard. Green Willow asked Autumn Chrysanthemum, "Should we go and ask Uncle?"
"Alright! You stay here and keep watch, I'll go find Uncle." After saying that, Qiuju handed the things in her hand to Lvliu and left in a hurry.
"Then hurry up, we can't neglect this honored guest," said Green Willow.
"Understood. If Madam wakes up, please inform her as soon as possible."
"good!"
Tian Yu turned over, still wanting to sleep. Having been in the capital for so long, this was the first time she'd slept so soundly. Looking at the sunlight outside, it must be almost noon. Tian Yu sat up, remembering how Zhao Moyan insisted on staying with her last night. They ended up writing and reading at their desks until well past midnight. Tian Yu couldn't stay awake any longer, so Zhao Moyan carried her to bed. She was worried something might happen, but she was so tired that she fell asleep quickly, sleeping until the sun was high in the sky, not even noticing when Zhao Moyan left.
Just as she got up, put on her shoes, and was about to stretch, Green Willow suddenly pushed open the door and said, "Madam, you're finally awake! We were all so worried!"
"What happened?"
"You don't know, the princess came with the seventh prince, insisting on seeing you." Green Willow said as she helped Tian Yu change her clothes.
"The Seventh Prince!? The Emperor's youngest prince, Little Seven?"
"Yes, Madam, you mustn't address the prince like that."
"Then why didn't you wake me up sooner?"
"The Marquis instructed us not to disturb you before he left! So we don't know what to do."
"So you're just going to let them wait around?"
"No, that's not it! Qiuju went to invite her uncle."
"That's good. I've heard that the Seventh Prince is not to be trifled with, a little devil!"
When Tian Yu finished dressing and came to the front hall, she saw the princess and Li Xingyun sitting together, while Tangyuan and another child were playing in the courtyard. It seemed to be the seventh prince, who looked a little younger than Tangyuan. As Tian Yu approached, Tangyuan ran over and called out, "Mother! Mother!"
"Tangyuan, slow down and watch your step," Tian Yu said, opening her arms.
"Mother, this is Xiao Qi." Tangyuan said breathlessly, pulling on the Seventh Prince.
"Xiao Qi!?"
“That’s right! Seventh Prince, let’s call him Little Seven?” Tangyuan said with a smile.
Green Willow and Autumn Chrysanthemum covered their mouths and chuckled, thinking to themselves that they were indeed mother and son, even giving each other the same nicknames.
"So you're the Mr. Tian they're talking about," the Seventh Prince said sternly and righteously.
"Yes! I am the Ms. Tian they are talking about. I pay my respects to the Seventh Prince." Tian Yu replied respectfully upon seeing his attitude.
"No need for formalities! You knew I was coming, why did it take you so long to come out and greet me?" He didn't forget to look at Tangyuan after saying that.
"This!? I only just learned that the Seventh Prince has graced my humble abode with his presence. I apologize for any neglect I may have caused you." Seeing his aloof expression, Tian Yu dared not be negligent and quickly apologized.
"Such disrespect for the prince! You don't even kneel before me! Do you know your crime? Normally, you would be punished with a beating for this."
"Yes! It was my fault, please forgive me, Seventh Prince." Tian Yu immediately knelt down and explained.
"Xiao Qi, what are you doing! Are you going to scold my mother? Mother, get up!" Tangyuan said unhappily.
"Brother Tangyuan, don't be angry! I was just joking." The Seventh Prince suddenly said to Tangyuan with a smile.
Turning to Tian Yu with a fierce expression, he said, "Hmph! I'll let you off the hook for now, out of respect for Tangyuan-gege."
Tian Yu wanted to laugh at his fickle expression, but she held back and said respectfully, "Then I thank the Seventh Prince!"
"Little Seven, don't be silly, or I won't bring you out next time," the princess said as she walked in from outside and helped Tian Yu up.
"Tian Yu, get up quickly. Seventh Brother is being silly, please don't blame him."
"My elder sister is ignorant of the rules and made us wait for so long. Shouldn't she be punished?"
"If you keep doing this, I won't bring you next time."
"Princess, it was my fault. You can't blame the Seventh Prince. I stayed up late writing a book yesterday, so I got up late today. Please forgive me for my neglect."
"We came too suddenly and didn't inform you beforehand. We can't blame you; we were the ones who were abrupt," the princess said, helping Tian Yu up, while not forgetting to glare at Xiao Qi.
"Mother rarely gets up this late. There's a reason for this today. If you keep doing this, Xiao Qi, Mao Rong and I will stop fighting with you," Tang Yuan said, protecting Tian Yu.
Mao Rong seemed to understand, wagging its tail and barking in support. Seeing this, the Seventh Prince immediately smiled and said to Tang Yuan, "Brother Tang Yuan, don't be angry. I won't make things difficult for your mother."
"Thank you, Seventh Prince! As an apology, how about the Princess and the Seventh Prince stay for a meal today?" Tian Yu said to them with a smile.
"Hmm! That's more like it. I heard your cooking is excellent. Why did you only invite my fifth brother and my elder sister last time? Why didn't you invite me, the prince?!"
"Well! I originally wanted to invite the Seventh Prince, but unfortunately I don't know you. You are so noble, I was afraid that I would slight you and displease you, and then you would punish me. So I had no choice but to give up."

"Of course not, the Seventh Prince is understanding and kind-hearted," Tian Yu said with a smile, pinching his delicately sculpted cheek.
"Stop! You have some nerve, woman! Let me go!" the Seventh Prince said angrily.
"I also think he's so cute." Tangyuan reached out and pinched the Seventh Prince's cheeks with Tianyu, making the Seventh Prince's cheeks turn red with anger.
