When Tian Yu woke up, she found herself in Wu Yaohui's bed. Panicked, she jumped up and looked around. Outside, Wu Yaohui said in a deep voice, "You're awake!"
"Where am I? How did I get here?" Tian Yu asked in a panic as she calmed down.

What did I do last night?
"you guess?"
Seeing that her clothes were intact, Tian Yu got up and went outside. Looking at Wu Yaohui, she tried hard to remember and said, "I remember... I remember a woman bit you last night, and then, and then I can't remember."
"You guessed right, here's a reward!" Wu Yaohui said with a smile, handing a bowl of medicine to Tian Yu.
"What's this?"
"Drink the medicine!"

Wu Yaohui didn't stop her and let Tian Yu follow him. When they arrived at the Imperial Study, the eunuch said that Prince Wu was requesting an audience. Tian Yu was secretly delighted, but she still looked at Wu Yaohui with resentment. Wu Yaohui looked up and smiled, saying, "It's been a long time since I've seen my fifth brother. I'll see him today."
When Prince Wu entered, he immediately saw Tian Yu, but knowing this was the palace and Tian Yu was now the Empress, he could only bow his head to conceal his emotions. Tian Yu, also to avoid revealing her presence, chose not to look at him, keeping her eyes fixed on Wu Yaohui. Wu Yaohui smiled and said, "Empress, Prince Wu has arrived. Aren't you going to see him?"
Tian Yu glanced at Prince Wu and said, "Who is Prince Wu? I don't know him. I just want to see you. Why do you make me drink medicine every day? I don't want to drink it! I forget everything every time I drink it. You're a bad person, aren't you?"
"Fifth Brother has liked you for a long time, don't you remember?"
"You like me? I don't remember!"
"Your Majesty, I have come here to advise you against launching a military attack on the Che Kingdom."
"Alright, I understand. How come you've been under house arrest for so long and still haven't changed your ways? You've only just been released and you want to be confined again?"
“Even if His Majesty wants to confine me to my quarters, I still have to speak up.”
"Let's not talk about state affairs today, how about we have a good chat about personal matters?"
Wu Yaohui smiled and looked at them before continuing, "Ever since the Empress gave birth, her mental state has been poor. She often forgets things. Taking medicine helps her a little, but she can't remember many things no matter what she does. I specially invited a witch doctor from the Western Regions to cure the Empress, but it still hasn't been effective. You saw it just now."
Prince Wu looked at Tian Yu with concern, then lowered his head to avoid her gaze, saying, "Your Majesty, please take care of yourself."
"I'm not sick, he's the one who forces me to take medicine every day!" Tian Yu said aggrievedly.
"Look, the Empress just took her medicine and is still being temperamental. Fifth Brother, please don't take offense." Wu Yaohui looked at Tian Yu with affection.
"Physician Li's medical skills are superb. Why don't we invite him to take a look at the Empress?" said Prince Wu.
"I almost forgot, he is the Empress's brother. How about I trouble my fifth brother to make a trip and invite him over tomorrow?"
"Yes!" Prince Wu looked at Tian Yu with a puzzled expression, but dared not ask any more questions.
Tian Yu followed Wu Yaohui for a day and found that he was a wise ruler who was always dealing with government affairs. She didn't find anything else. The only thing that puzzled Tian Yu was what kind of relationship Li Taifei and Wu Yaohui had. Wu Yaohui was so clean, so he shouldn't have fallen for Li Taifei. Although she was very beautiful, she was still his father's woman. They had parted on bad terms yesterday, but today they were able to eat together, and he didn't refuse the food that Li Taifei fed him.
That evening, Tian Yu, wanting to know what Wu Yaohui might do, followed him into his bedchamber. Wu Yaohui said, "I'm going to take a bath. Does the Empress wish to join me?"
Tian Yu blinked and said, "I don't want to drink medicine!"
"Alright! I'll agree as soon as you remember about the explosives."

Wu Yaohui locked Tian Yu out of the room, and Tian Yu stomped her feet angrily and returned to her own palace.
The next day, Prince Wu indeed arrived with Li Xingyun. Although Tian Yu had been telling herself not to show any emotion and to pretend she didn't know them after so long, she almost lost control of her emotions when she saw Li Xingyun and the others as soon as she stepped over the threshold. Luckily, she was quick-witted and deliberately tripped and fell flat on her face. This way, even if she cried, no one would suspect anything. Tian Yu really couldn't help but shed tears. Li Xingyun and Prince Wu rushed over immediately, but remembering that this was the palace, Wu Yaohui, who was still holding out his hand, withdrew them.
Wu Yaohui remained seated, seemingly unfazed. Although startled by Tian Yu's sudden movement, he only paused briefly while holding his teacup. It was the princess who stepped forward and helped Tian Yu up. Tian Yu, tears streaming down her face, looked at the princess with a pitiful expression and said, "It hurts so much! Who are you? You're so cute!"
Don't you remember me?
"I'm sorry, I always forget a lot of things that happened before every time I wake up. Maybe we've met, but I don't remember."
"Tian Yu? Your Majesty, please get up." The princess pulled Tian Yu up with heartache.
Tian Yu smiled and said, "Thank you."
"And who are they?" Tian Yu asked, pointing at Li Xingyun and Prince Wu.
"This is the Fifth Prince, and this is Physician Li. They're here to treat you," the princess explained.
"I'm not sick! I just have a bad memory!" Tian Yu explained.
"Your Majesty, don't be afraid. Physician Li will just examine you. Once you're cured, you won't need to take any more medicine," Wu Yaohui said.
"Really?"
Seeing everyone nod, Tian Yu thought for a moment and then nodded, saying, "Okay!"
Under Wu Yaohui's watchful eye, Li Xingyun took Tian Yu's pulse, his brows furrowing repeatedly with a serious expression. Tian Yu asked curiously, "Divine Doctor, what's wrong with me? Do I have a serious, incurable illness?"
