Tian Yu chuckled and recounted her experiences, also exposing the Eighth Prince's conspiracy. Her becoming a monk was a pretense; her true intention was treachery. For years, she had used her monk identity to travel the world, poisoning the mother of Prince Wu. Li Yun discovered the events of that year but before he could uncover the truth, he was framed and forced to flee the capital with his entire family. He destroyed the Zhao family, leading to the defeat of the Wu Kingdom, gradually turning the kingdom upside down. Meanwhile, he hid in the Meng Kingdom, becoming the Grand Tutor, betraying his country! Later, he became a politician in the Chen Kingdom, where he met Empress Dowager Li. Together, they destroyed Crown Prince Wu Yaohui, and he also operated in the Qiu Kingdom, playing a crucial role in its fall from power. All of this was to avenge the usurpation of the throne! Of course, it was best not to mention that she was a time traveler; she simply stated that she had a backup plan and only survived with the help of the divine physician Li Xingyun, but she lost her memory. Li Xingyun also provided an undeniable confirmation. Those present were stunned speechless by this series of revelations.
"Eighth Imperial Uncle! Should I call you the Grand Master of Meng Kingdom, or the politician of Chen Kingdom?" Prince Wu said angrily, although he already knew the general situation, he still couldn't believe the truth from Tian Yu.
"Haha! That's right! But if your father hadn't seized the throne that should have been mine, why would I have killed his most beloved concubine!"
"Then what is your relationship with Consort Li?!" Zhao Moyan asked.
"Her?! She was nothing more than a pawn in my game. Without her help, the Zhao family wouldn't have fallen so easily! It's all thanks to that foolish woman!"
"You!?" Only now did Li Linfeng fully understand what had happened back then. It turned out that he had really harmed the Zhao family with his own hands and had fallen into his trap!
"How did you harm the Crown Prince?" Tian Yu stepped forward and asked.
The Eighth Prince looked at her and said with a smile, "Didn't you already guess? Why ask again!"
"He's practically your nephew, why are you treating him like this?!" Tian Yu asked.
“Nephew! He is my elder brother’s most beloved son, the future crown prince. I’m just letting him experience the hardships of life!”
Everyone took a step back. Wu Yaohui and the now-mad Consort Li emerged from the shadows. Consort Li rushed out and grabbed the Eighth Prince tightly, saying, "You!? That's not what you said!?"
"You're still alive!? Then I'll send you on your way!" The Eighth Prince said, and without blinking, he plunged the sword in his hand into the body of Consort Li.
"For you, I became a Noble Consort, and framed and seduced the Crown Prince. You...you promised me...you would...you would love me for a lifetime." Consort Li collapsed with remorse. Although she did not know what had happened between them, it was clear that Consort Li must have met the Eighth Prince when she was traveling, which led to her current predicament. But whether it was a coincidence or a carefully planned scheme, only the Eighth Prince could answer.
At this moment, Wu Yaohui stared at the Eighth Prince with bloodshot eyes. If he hadn't been held back, he probably would have rushed forward already. He roared angrily, "Let me go! I'm going to kill him!"
Li Linfeng and his son tried to step forward but were stopped by soldiers, and could only watch helplessly as their loved one fell.
"Just a woman! She dares to try and hinder my great cause!" The Eighth Prince said coldly, looking at the person on the ground, not taking Wu Yao seriously at all.
"The truth has come out! Eighth Imperial Uncle, surrender!" Zhao Moyan said.
"If I hadn't voluntarily abdicated back then, how could he have gotten the throne!" the Eighth Prince said, pointing his sword at the young emperor.
Prince Wu stopped him, saying, "This is your own choice; no one forced you!"
"Voluntary!? Two hundred thousand troops are stationed outside the city, and you say this is voluntary!" the Eighth Prince asked.
"As far as I know, the throne was to be passed to you, but you were cowardly and gave up the throne. The late emperor sent troops to besiege the capital, but you had a chance with your power at the time. You gave up the opportunity and shaved your head to become a monk."
"Yes! So what! He's dead now, but I'm still alive, so there's still a chance!" the Eighth Prince said with a smile.
The group looked at the person in front of them and wondered if he had gone mad. Why would he continue after all this?
"My son! Why aren't you making a move!" The Eighth Prince gave the order, and everyone was startled again. But after waiting for a long time, there was no reaction from the crowd. Who was his son after all? Mao Rong retreated to Tang Yuan's side and growled, staring at everyone in the crowd.
With a thud, the Third Prince, who was beside Zhao Moyan, fell to the ground, still holding a dagger in his hand. The Eighth Prince was shocked and shouted, "Chen'er!"
Everyone then realized it was him! At this point, the Eighth Prince completely lost his confidence, dropped his sword, and knelt on the ground.
"How did you know?!" the Eighth Prince asked.
"Just guessing! You think burning down the library will make it a secret?" Tian Yu said.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! I never imagined that my life's efforts would be ruined by you," said the Eighth Prince.
"It wasn't me. Do you think I could really guess? The late emperor knew all along, but he didn't blame you. He still treated the Third Prince as his own son. You should thank him!"
"Chen'er!"
"Don't worry, he's not dead! He's just unconscious," Li Xingyun said. It turned out that Zhao Moyan had asked him for sleeping pills to drug the Third Prince. This couple was really cunning; they even kept it from him.
"Li Yong has the man imprisoned in a dungeon and is keeping him under strict guard!" Zhao Moyan said.
Wu Yaohui snatched a sword from a guard and charged at the Eighth Prince, piercing him with a single strike. The Eighth Prince, seeing Wu Yaohui before him, also thrust his sword at him without hesitation. Everyone was shocked by their actions. As the two fell to the ground, Wu Yaohui looked at Tian Yu and reached out to reach her. Tian Yu tried to step forward, but Zhao Moyan held her back. Tian Yu said, "Don't worry, he won't hurt me."
