"Let her in!" Li Xingyun said from inside. Xiao Wu then withdrew. Tian Yu pushed open the door and entered. Although it was a study, it was filled with the smell of Chinese medicine. Li Xingyun was still reading a medical book. When he saw Tian Yu come in, he put down his book, turned his wheelchair to the tea table, poured some good tea, and asked Tian Yu to sit down. He said, "Madam, is there something you need from me alone? If it's about your illness, Madam is fine now. It was just a temporary fever caused by catching a cold and worrying too much. "You don't need to be nervous. If you haven't done it, I naturally won't bother you. Don't worry, Doctor Li." Seeing his angry look, Tian Yu thought that the clothing store owner was right. This Li Xingyun was not interested in women. His parents kept urging him to get married, but they couldn't do anything about it.
After saying that, he took the jade pendant, picked up the package, and prepared to leave. When he reached the door, he said, "You can tell Zhao Moyan about today's conversation. Also, please tell him that if anything happens to Chen Chong, he should take good care of Tangyuan."
After saying that, she strode out the door without lingering and went to Manager Qian's restaurant. Tian Yu had a simple lunch with Tangyuan and Xiaoju, and then played with them in the yard for a while. When they were both a little sleepy, Tian Yu took a nap with them. After they were both asleep, Tian Yu gave Zhou Bo a few instructions, changed into men's clothing, and then went out.
In the afternoon, Tian Yu wandered around the county town for half a day, visiting various places and buying many things she needed, especially books and maps about this unknown era. She also didn't miss any rumors or gossip about the local people and events. She drank tea and listened to stories in a teahouse while browsing the books she had bought.
The storyteller was telling the story of the Marquis of Zhenbei and Pei Yuling, the first female general of the Chen Kingdom. It was nothing more than the story of how the female general was conquered by the Marquis of Zhenbei after several battles, and the back-and-forth between the two. But that was not what Tian Yu wanted to hear. She was not very interested in the Marquis of Zhenbei's deeds, but rather in the news about the Chen Kingdom that was being discussed privately in the teahouse.
The three people at the table in front were discussing how the female general had been betrothed to the royal family since childhood. Previously, Tian Yu only thought about farming and taking care of Tangyuan and never cared about these things. Now she is paying attention and there is quite a lot of useful information. Before she knew it, an afternoon had passed. The Zhenbei Marquis they were talking about was her ex-husband Zhao Moyan.
